Australia V South Africa - Test Series

I am playing the draw at Lunch on day 5.

Drawn test match: $3.65

I don't know what the weather is doing over there but I have a feeling that this will be a draw. South Africa's middle order will hang around to make this happen.

Re: Australia V South Africa - Test Series

I see Australia now at $1.70 for the win and the draw at $2.00

Get on it whilst you can.

Re: Australia V South Africa - Test Series

Still 4 out and tea has been called.

So they've got a good 2 and a bit hours of play to remain out there. Kemp and Rudolph are playing very good roles here. Batting very well. Credit to them considering the pressure they're under as Kallis is due back boxing day.

With Boucher and Pollock after these 2, one would think a draw would happen.

Although, if Australia get a few quick wickets, they'll win. But can't see that happening at this point in time.

South Africa 4/190

Kemp 27 (100)
Rudolph 60 (189)

When Lara reclaimed his record, Ricky Ponting said something along the lines that Australia play to win - not to draw and they don't play for individual glory. Well, Ricky Ponting declared after Hodge made a double century. And shock horror, they're going to not win a test match because of it.

A lead of 400 would have been enough for Australia to win. Why drag it out to nearly 500 runs waiting for someone to score a double?

Australia could have had an extra hour or so to bowl to this mob.

Eat that Ponting.

Re: Australia V South Africa - Test Series

Second Test

In play

South Africa to win @ $3.25

This pitch will come good on the second and third days - South Africa have the upperhand and they have Kallis back in the squad to help them put up a reasonable score.

1st Innings Runs - Head to Head

Jaques Kallis over Graeme Smith @ $1.80 - Smith will be troubled by McGrath and Lee. Kallis isn't the number 1 ranked Test Batter for nothing. I think Kallis will score a huge score here.

Jaques Rudolph over Herscelle Gibbs @ $2.08 - Gibbs form has been questionable and Rudolph scored a great century last week and also a double in a lead-up game. My money is on Rudolph and at this price, I'm taking it.

Re: Australia V South Africa - Test Series

south africa crumble as expected, they are hopeless and mentally one of the weakest teams in the world, god knows how they saved that last test

just watched symonds innings, wow what a gifted player this guy is and i think he still has potential to be a good test player - congrats on aussie selectors for giving him chance
