NHL Wednesday

NHL YTD: 45-36-4 (+5.26 units)
ML: 31-21 (+5.47 units)
GL: 4-3-3 (+2.39 units)
O/U: 10-12-1 (-3.85 units)

Even day yesterday. Playing a bunch tonight but at small stakes. Need to get out of this rut. Best of luck to everyone!!!!

1* New Jersey Devils/Tampa Bay Lightning Under 6.5 (-170)

Just think these two teams lack the offensive punch. I expect two solid goaltending performances from Grahme and Brodeur. 3-2 type game IMO.

1* Buffalo Sabres (-157) Over Washington Capitals - Regulation

I've been very impressed with Buffalo but more impressed with there goaltending in Ryan Miller. Just don't think too highly of the netminding for Washington and there defense. They have just been awful. The speedy fowards of Buffalo should take advantage here.

1* Carolina Hurricanes (-125) Over Boston Bruins - Includes regulation, ot and shootout

Carolina has been extremely impressive this season. They have talented fowards and a solid backline. They've also been very fortunate to get very good goaltending from Cam Ward and now Martin Gerber. Boston has struggled of late losing tight game after tight game. I just think Carolina is playing better right now and I trust Gerber more in net then I do in Raycroft for the Bruins.

1* Nashville Predators (-155) Over Columbus Blue Jackets - Includes regulation, ot and shootout

Yes Nashville will eventually lose and this looks like it could be one of those let down games but to me they are still a much better team then the Blue Jackets. The Blue Jackets have been awful this season. They've been outscored 20-9 in the last 5 games in which they went 1-4. Just think Nashville continues there good play here. This also looks like it will be a battle of backup goalies as Prusek will start for Columbus and it looks like Mason will start for Nashville. There is a chance that Vokoun will be in net though.

1* Dallas Stars (-155) Over San Jose Sharks - Includes regulation, ot and shootout

Just a fade of the Sharks on the road in which they are 1-6. Turco also has a great resume against the Sharks in the past. Dallas has had improved play over the last 5 games.

Good Luck to All!!!!

Re: NHL Wednesday

Frustrating night. Stars and Predators both drop OT games. Bad night
