AFL-NRL 19th - 21st August

Brisbane V Port Adelaide - Brisbane ML @ $1.82

Just because Brisbane were thrashed last week doesn't mean they are gone. We have a 6-2-2 record at the Gabba verses Port and Port have some injury concerns too. We almost beat Port on their dung-heap in Round 2. I have a feeling that it will come in come closer to game time so it's best to get on it now.

Western Bulldogs V Melbourne - Western Bulldods ML @ $1.67

This game is going to be a close game. Melbourne are struggling and Bulldogs have had an impressive month. The only wary factor in this is that the Bulldogs are a young side and could burn out. But against a low confidence Melbourne, they should do enough to get up. The line is 7.5 so that can be a go, however the ML is the safe bet.

Richmond V Hawthorn - Richmond @ $1.60

Hawthorn are crap and Richmond will want to end the year off on a high. Richmond's forward line will be too big for Hawthorn. The line is 10.5 so that could be a goer, but yet again, the ML is the safe option.

Sydney V Kangaroos - Kangaroos +22.5

This is a gift this bet. Sydney's odds are way too short after beating and undermanned Brisbane outfit. The line is too huge considering these teams history. Earlier in the year, Kangaroos came from behind to win. Last year at the SCG, Kangaroos won by 1 point. These two teams always has close games and Kangaroos do play well at the SCG. This is the bet of the round and easy value at $1.90.

The remaining matches:

Fremantle V St.Kilda - No bet. St.Kilda don't play well over there and Freo are too hard to predict.

Geelong V West Coast - West Coast are going to make the finals so they could rest easy this match. Geelong will fight like crazy and West Coast's run in Victoria this year isn't the best. Hard to tell.

Adelaide V Collingwood - Collingwood play exceptionally well at Aami stadium. The line is 47.5 and I believe that is too high. Collingwood at the spread could be a goer.

Essendon V Carlton - Carlton came from behing earlier in the year to win. It will be a close game. Carlton are in good form and Essendon are in medium-range form. Hard to predict.

--------------------------------------

At the moment, this is my parlay.

Richmond ML X Brisbane ML X Kangaroos +22.5 @ $5.53

Re: AFL-NRL 19th - 21st August

I'm kicking things off with the league:

Tigers to be first team to score - $1.85 (5 units)

Traditionally very fast starters and looking for that trend to continue in front of a big crowd

Also leaning towards the ATS at -7.5, but will look into to it a bit more

Good luck,Im gonna stick wit what i like and thats the Tigers ats!!!back later to confirm!!Tigers first team to score,im not sure once you win 7-8 games in a row the opposition usually comes out harder and your team isnt as switched on,be careful mate Bulldogs start well, but die in the 2nd half, thats why i like the ats!!!
Wingers to get the first try scorer option Utai or Richards!!!

Last 10 "home" games for Tigers, Tigers have been first team to score - at least I have statistics on my side
