This is the first game of the season the Kangaroos are favoured, and deservingly so. The Kangaroos have won all three of their games this season straight up against Carlton, Sydney and St.Kilda. This match should be a good one but Kangaroos are good at shutting down key forwards, this will be important because Collingwood rely heavily on the likes of Rocca and Tarrant to kick their goals. Collingwood will be full of confidence after their come from behind victory against Carlton last week but will face a greater challenge this week against the 'Roos. Kangaroos to win by about 18 points.

Brisbane should win this one but too hard to say if they can cover the large spread on the road with so many injuries. Hawthorn could have some fight in them desperate for first win of the season after a dubious 2 point loss to Essendon last week.
West Coast/Western Bulldogs
I have no doubt in my mind West Coast will continue their unbeaten record this weekend, at home playing the bulldogs. ~37.5 points is a big margin to cover against the Bulldogs who can turn a game into an ugly scrap. Considered adding the ML into a parlay but $1.13 or so there simply isn't enough value to consider it.
Originally had decided to stay away from this game but the more I have looked into it the more I decided it should be a play. Essendon have had an ordinary start to the year as expected and only won last week against Hawthorn on a decision that the AFL conceded during the week shouldn't have been paid, resulting in the winning goal. Matthew Lloyd is back for the 'dons but didn't have much of a showing last week and things are not going to get any easier against All Australian fullback Matthew Scarlett. Geelong copped a hiding last week against the most in form side, I think they will bounce back and put Essendon in their place with a 30 point victory.

I consider this a match best to stay away from. Port Adelaide are only favoured because they won last year's premiership and they are at home. Their form this year does not warrant them to be such strong favourites. Carlton have shown pre-season that they can play football but we havn't seen much of it this year. I am tipping Port Adelaide to win but definitely not laying any money on this game. Would have taken Carlton with the points but with key injuries to Camporeale and Prendergast I have decided to stay away.
