Edit

They got the results wrong. They initally had Sanchez ahead of Gutierrez now they have him behind him. They had him mixed up with Rojas.

The Taaramae bet lost too.

So the amended is +.7 for the stage.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Bloody Luis Leon Sanchez was too busy talking to another Spanish rider and lost me the bet.

Bad luck BG. Cancellara cost you the bet.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

So after all Garmin is the team who lost everything today, not Saxo. Farrar and Vandevelde both went to the hospital, CVV lost like 6 minutes.

I'm really interested which bookie will have the guts to put up h2h bets with so many riders hurting.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Stage 2:

Basso over Gesink @2.21

"Robert Gesink with a hairline fracture to his arm. He'll start tomorrow, but it'll be painful."

Maarten Wynants over Lloyd Mondory @3.00

Mondory is in bad condition after his crash on stage 1. Too bad he is up against a Quick Step guy...

Odds on Basso v Gesink and Wiggins v Gesink are hammered...

Added:

Thomas Löfkvist over Jurgen Van Den Broeck 1.85
Bradley Wiggins over Robert Gesink 1.54
@2.85

Thor Hushovd over Robbie McEwen @1.30

VDB and McEwen also hit the deck pretty hard today.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Never doubt a pissed of viking: Thor to win it @6 and Thor to finish top3 @2

Farrar and McEwen are seriously injured, Cav and Peta won't make it to the finish line with the first group. Cancellara and Breschel will take care of the poor Schlecks. Who would beat him?

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Do you see any scenarios where Thor won't win tomorrow? I really think he would only lose out on this if he crashes or gets a puncture. Rain is 0-10% for tomorrow, thank god for that.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Cancellara or Hushovd will win. It's their territory.

Woah, Gesink has crashed out again?

Also, Vande Velde won't finish the race.

Vandevelde is already out. Gesink will give it a try.

And Cancellara owes Hushovd big time after today. He robbed him of a stage win and the green jersey.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

10 units Hushovd over McEwen @ $1.35
10 units Basso over Gesink @ $1.49

Seriously, how will these bets not get up?

Gesink is severely injured. McEwen was taken to hospital with a bad cut in his arm where he lost a lot of blood. McEwen will rest today in the hope he's right for tomorrow's sprintfest.

For the record, those two bets are still at great odds at Pinnacle.

5 units Maaskant over Wynants @ $1.55

Garmin will have to send someone up the road. Wynants will be working for Chavanel. Maaskant loves this terrain.

3 units Hushovd to win @ $5 (Sportingbet)
6 units Hushovd to place @ $2 (Sportingbet)

That will do me for today. Plucked out three decent head to heads and Hushovd should go close to winning, if not win the stage today.

Seems like we have almost the same bets for once.
