Re: 2010 Tour de France

That sort of Tour hey, BG?

Robbie said he's feeling fine but the way he was talking I think he thinks he's a better shot at Paris. But yes, I see Robbie finishing top five somewhere - hopefully it's top three. He's burnt me a few times by finishing out of the top three. Hell, I hope he wins.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

What do yuo expect from Thor? Is he any better than a week or two ago or he will finish 6-9th again?

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Actually no. Cav is his main challenger.

Hushovd won't finish top two in Paris.

For Cav to win green, he needs to claim victory with Petacchi to finish fifth or worse and Hushovd to finish third or worse. They need to hammer that final corner like last year. Perhaps they can recruit Hincapie for a stage.

Cav can go for the intermediate sprints. I know he said he won't do that but now he is really close...If he wins both ahead of Petacchi than he will need Petaccho to finish 4th or worse.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Bradley Wiggins over David Millar @1.66 (big)

Britain's David Millar, who has been nursing a rib injury since the second stage and lies 161st out of the 171 riders left in the Tour, explains how he is merely surviving this year's race: "It's horrific, I've hated it. It's been miserable. I just want to get to Paris. Once I get to Paris I'll enjoy it, but at the moment it's just been excruciating. I am in no physical shape for Saturday's time trial. I'll do it at 100% but there won't be a result, not a hope. Finishing here is the number one goal, in whatever state that is."

Normally i would be very cautious with a statement like that but what's the point of downplaying your chances when you will be the 11th starter and every good ITT guy will see your results?

Re: 2010 Tour de France

7 units Contador over Millar @ $1.28

5 units Martin over Millar @ $1.50

8 units Grabsch over Schleck @ $1.72 (Am I missing something here? Schleck is crap against the clock and Grabsch is decent. Though, it's the battle of the freshest man, Grabsch has no excuse not to come top ten tonight. He came 11th in the Dauphine, over 49km. If Schleck finishes ahead of him, I will be surprised.

3 units Kreuziger over Schleck @ $2.65 - Again, fading Schleck.

4 units Luis Leon Sanchez over Samuel Sanchez @ $2 - Lulu is better against the clock. Granted, Samuel has something strong to ride for but even if he pulls something out of his arse, I would expect Lulu to beat him 99% of the time.

3 units Rodriguez over Gesink @ $2.65 - Freshest man here. Both are crap against the clock, but from what I have seen, Rodriguez has been the freshest man. Gesink looks like he's been struggling whilst Rodriguez looks like he's getting better.

4 units Zabriskie over Millar @ $1.60

4 units Martin over Millar x L L Sanchez over Van Den Broeck @ $2.10
4 units Contador over Millar x L L Sanchez over Van Den Broeck @ $1.92

1 unit Grabsch @ $21
3 units Grabsch top 3 @ $5
