Re: 2010 Tour de France

Mondory had a huge crash on Stage 1 so he will want to make amends. Top 10 for any sprinter who know they can't win in the Tour de France is a win for them.

Plus Roelandts hit the deck yesterday, hard.

Anyway, despite all that, the bet should get up.

Lots of money on Petacci in the last couple of hours... Cavendish price drifting... Interesting

Cav is still big fav everywhere, under 2.25 all places. But maybe they don't trust him to get to the line in that tricky last 5 km:

Re: 2010 Tour de France

If Cav has his leadout controlling things heading into those roundabouts, he wins.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Ooops i missed the finish line the first time. So the last 1000m is straight, that's better news.

Cavendish is screwed. Will not win a stage. If he is below four dollars tomorrow, then I will be shocked. On today's performance, his odds need to be 10.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Well, I was fooled again by Cavendish being the so called fastest man in the world. He is horrible at the moment. His lead-up form was crap and he can't make use of decent lead-outs. I'm not going to be fooled anymore. He aint in the top five sprinters in the world at the moment and the guy won't win a stage.

Michael Rogers must be annoyed they sent him instead of building a team around him. His form did not warrant a call-up.

Re: 2010 Tour de France

Columbia need to say no more. They need to keep Monfort, Martin and Siutsou fresh for Rogers. Rogers has to leave Columbia at the end of the year if he has any chance of getting a decent result in the Tour. He's going to be isolated even though he's in the form of his life.
