Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

Speaking of interesting value, Sportingbet did a mistake in the KOM competition.

They had Arroyo at 5001. I tried to put on $1 but it was greater than the stake allowed ($0)

I disagree on this one. Basso always targeted the Giro and would and still will ride the Tour in support of Kreuziger and Nibali. That's what he is stating is nearly every interview he gives.

And that's a good choice for him. The Giro is winnable for him, while at the Tour even the podium seems out of the picture.

Every interview I read of his, again from cyclingnews, who don't know between right and wrong state that he is going for the Tour.

Plus I was speaking to one of the Liquigas boys in January and they say Basso is all for the Tour.

Edit: Then I read an article on velonation from a while ago saying Basso is for the Giro.

Cyclingnews sucks with the information they give.

Yeah, good for me. Not good for Bonnafond. He looks in real trouble.

Anyway just waiting to see how this stage pans out. Providing the Vino or other bet come up, I will come out in the green again. So may not do anything.

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

1 unit Bertogliati @ $9

The finish suits Lloyd better, but I'll take Bert.

Two people mean they probably won't make it but there were 3 yesterday with the third hanging out the back for the last quarter of the race struggling.

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

I'm going to get one of them, so may as well do this.

2.5 units Lloyd @ $2.50

11km to go when the bet was placed. Currently over 9km to go.

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

This Giro is a fucking joke. The only real sprinter in the top 8? Sasha Modolo...

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

Still shocked, only 2 sprinters in top 25 were Modolo and Cooke. Honestly i feel something is up with these Duque bets. Every they he gets paired with somebody he should beat easily and everyday he loses somehow...

Tomorrow it should be Cunego, Garzelli and Vino.

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

I looked at the map for tomorrow. It's not nearly as steep as i thought it is. I'm gonna go with Pipo once again.

Pozzato to win @12
Pozzato to finish in top 3 @4

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

Fun parlay: (just to have enough adrenalin at the finish)

Stefano Garzelli - Cadel Evans 1 1,80
Richie Porte - Vladimi Karpets 2 2,10
Pieter Weening - Francis De Greef 2 1,75
Thomas Voeckler - Daniel Moreno 2 1,81

Re: Bolar's 2010 Cycling Thread

Garzelli to finish in top 3 @2.25

I didn't want to make so much bets on this stage but it looks like a good opportunity for the quick Italian non-sprinters (aka Pozzato and Garzelli) to win one. I hope they won't let a breakaway come home again, 3 days in a row... (Or if they do Pozzato should be in it.)
