Re: 2009 Tour De France

This is pretty much the stage that those who have aspirations to win the KOM must make a move, some very handy points offer.

Yep

Moncoutie!

Now that Dodger is out of contention, could he try for it? Depends how he's feeling I suppose.

I was going to say Moreau would do something today but his team-mate Feillu is sitting handy at the top of the standings with 49 points. With that in mind, Moreau would surely try and win the KOM?

The break today would feature a Garmin rider (Danny Pate), Katusha - Mikhail Ignatiev.

Interesting yesterday that Voigt and Freire tried to get in the break. Both could try again. Rabobank trying to save face. Freire can make it over these climbs in the right breakaway. The Rabobank rider that also comes to mind is Juan Antonio Flecha.

Re: 2009 Tour De France

3 units on Moncoutie over Txurruka @ $1.95
3 units on Moncoutie over Txurruka @ $1.90
3 units on Moncoutie over Txurruka @ $1.85
1 unit on Rolland over Uran @ $2.20 - hoping Rolland gets in the break.

Naturally, the break will stay away today. Moncoutie will try something on the climbs.

Good luck!

Why bother putting 3 $15 bets on Moncoutie?

More like 3 $300 bets

Pinacle only allowed you to put a maximum of 319 on. So, I wanted to put $900 on him. So I submitted the bet 3 times at a lower price each time, didn't i?

Why? Because this guy will be in the break tonight, it won't be hunted down and txurruka will be back in the peloton.

Re: 2009 Tour De France

I am however pissed off that Moncoutie couldn't get across. Fucking Evans fucked me up attacking on that first climb of the day. I will slap myself in the forehead if I lose that bet. Moncoutie attacked numerous times, even when Evans was caught, but the break were too far away. The break does win this stage. I gotto now hope Moncoutie fucking stays ahead of Txurruka.

Not to worry

The head to heads and Sanchez win gave me +9.3 for the stage.

Edit: The guys in bold are the guys that tried attacking today to get into a break. I'll be on the same riders tomorrow more than likely.
