Let's update this thread.

Mark Cavendish E/W $14/$4 - 1.5 units on the win. 5 units for the place. - WON

Heinrich Haussler to place - 1.5 units @ $5 - WON

The best non sprinter who I give a chance to win is Davide Rebellin. $34/$9 - I am putting .25 units on the win and .5 units on the place. - LOST

Head to Heads - These are placed at Pinaccle

3.25 units - Bennati over Boonen @ $1.95 - WON

1 unit - Cavendish over McEwen @ $2.31 - WON

1 unit - Pozzato over Paolini @ $2.04 - LOST

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

14:29 CEST
Cancellara broke his chain.

He is now tackling the Koppenberg again. Downhill mind you! He will be going back to the hotel without all the climbs.

14:29 CEST
Classic! Cancellara stops halfway down to collect his chain and hangs it around his neck...

hahahahaa

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

An update half way through.

Quinziato and Hoste in the break with 6 others.

Boonen, Pozzato, Haussler, Maaskant, Hincapie, Flecha all looking very very strong. Boonen is attacking and Pozzato is following him. It looks like Quick Step are setting up Devolder. Boonen if he keeps this up will tire himself and Pozzato out leading Devolder as the man. Chavanel is in the lead group so this is the tactic quick step are using.

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

Boonen is trying to shake Pozzato. Pozzato getting a free ride on his wheel looking comfortable. Pozzato riding smart here. Boonen is fucking himself up unless he's setting up for Devolder but he is giving Pozzato a free ride who does not look troubled.

Columbia are riding a very smart race here. Hincapie and Burghardt looking strong. Hincapie for Roubaix? Form of his career.

Ivan you have nothing to worry about. Pozzato will be there at the end when they catch the break.

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

interesting race this year, could be a lot worse so far, hopefully Lorenzetto's crash wasn't as serious as it seems

QS with strange tactics and I didn't expect Hoste in the break

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

Gap going down very quickly. With 42km to go its withing a minute. Quick Step doing the driving. Cervelo look strong. So do Columbia. Pozzato is looking good too.
