Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

For those looking for a long shot Quinziato might be a good play at triple figures. Liquigas are quietly confident with their team for Flanders and he will be their leader. Take with that the fact of the above history, then he's worth a shot.

.2 unit to win @ $101
.3 unit to place @ $21

Also I'm not playing it but Willems is 150-1

Good luck!

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

Pozzato is the best bet. What is 5/1 in Decimal?

Take Haussler for Roubaix.

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

Take it

The only worry is his lack of team support but he is a smart rider.

Like I say my predictions are Pozzato from Haussler and Boonen with guys like Chavanel, Hoste, Maaskant, Hincapie, Burghardt, Nuyens, Quinziato, Willems, Leukemans fighting out the top 10 with a few other riders.

Place odds are qaurter of the odds.

must place 1-2-3

I know this sounds silly but are you sure he will place?

I know nothing is sure in sport but you have won me big money before so i have the faith.

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

Nothing is sure in an event like this. The climbers may upclass the sprinters. But Pozzato is heading into form. Not only that, look at the past history between De Panne and Flanders and that tells us that Pozzato could be the one to continue that trend.

Good luck to us

Re: Bolar's Cycling 2009 Betting Thread

This is the most open event in recent years in this race. There are like 15 strong chances. But I am very confident Pozzato will deliver the bacon.

Did Liquigas say that? I'd be surprised if they give him clearly the edge over Bennati and maybe another guy like Franzoi or Willems.

Bennati is still suffering from his crash in Tirreno-Adriatico and Quinziato is in form. I've seen it somewhere where Liquigas mentioned Quinziato will get the nod.

As of now there is 125km left. So you're looking at at least another 4 hours.
