Re: International Cricket - November '08

I'm not saying this because England lost because we would of done anyways but the D/L method is a joke- what they ought to do is instead of playing 7 One dayers put it to 5 and leave 2 days free so if theres rain come back that day- it makes it more fair, obviously a bit of rain is fine to wait on, but that match was reduced to 22 overs from 50 what a joke!

Re: International Cricket - November '08

Australian High Bat

Matthew Hayden @ $5

It's his 100th test match. He will grind away for a century here. This is a typical "Hayden saving his arse innings" meaning that if he does not score well, he will be dropped for South Africa and be forced to retire. In situations like this when Hayden is struggling, he will always pull something out of the hat to ensure his survival. This situation is similar to all the other ones over the last few years.

Australia first innings runs - Under 475.5 @ $1.90 - Are they serious? Yes this pitch is a good batting wicket, but Australia won't make 450. They will make around 350 - 400.

Hayden first innings runs - Over 43.5 @ $1.90 - See Explanation above.

Hayden more runs than Hussey @ $1.95
Symmonds more runs than Clark @ $2.05
