Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

This test is evenly poised. Looks like India - particularly Sehwag is handling the conditions extremely well. I see India maybe pushing towards 5 - 600 and then bowling australia out for a low score and not worrying to bat again. There will be a result in this pitch. It will get worse as the test goes on and if India can bat up until tea on Day 4 - have a lead of maybe 100, then I like their chances of toppling Australia for about 150 and then chasing that down with ease in the final session of day 5.

Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

Adding

Dravid first innings runs - Over 42.5 @ $1.85 - I can see him keeping his crease and putting on a solid half century.

Tendulkar first innings runs - OVer 46.5 @ $1.95 - He will be on his way to a century following Sehwag's good ton and break Lara's record in the process.

India's most runs first innings - Sehwag @ $????? - I'll be getting on Sehwag when the tab put the market up. As I say, he will score around 150 and be the benchmark. He's hitting the ball well and the pitch isn't worrying him and if ponting and hussey can get starts and go on with it, sehwag can aswell in conditions he is used to.

I have no intentions of hedging the bet yet. I might lose the money i put on inida and load them up in the second test.

I'm saying he's a good player Freak. He just screwed me up that's all. He's a pest to anyone bowling to him. That's what makes him so good. He's like Chanderpaul. But not in Chanderpaul's grade just yet.

Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

Understable Bolar, not that long ago there used to be a guy called Michael Bevan who was good at that!If Hussey could have a long career like Chanderpaul then he would over taking him in the standings but that wont happen cos Mike started late! His in the same grade and maybe even better but just doesnt have the miles to show it due to the hardship of getting into the Australian side in previous years!!

Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

Unbelievable batting from Harbajhan and Zaheer, keeping India in this match, brilliant to watch.

Some cracking shots, Aussies have always had a hard time dismising India's lower order (excluding Sydney 2008 )

Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

Just saw this thread.

Taken Idian to win Series @ 2.10 pre-series.

Taken DRAWN test in the last few overs before stumps last night @ 1.80.

Freak, what bookie you using for over/unders on individual scores?

Re: India v Australia - Test Cricket Series

If Singh and Kumble can dominate with the ball, then I still favour an India win. This pitch will suit the spinners. Kumble and Singh are the only ones who can win the test for India now. Australia could very well crumble with the lead down to about 70. If India can bowl Australia out for around 130 - 180 - I like their chances of winning this test. As of now, it's going to be a draw or an Indian win. Australia won't win from here. Don't have the bowling attack.
