MLS June 8-9

The Los Angeles Galaxy return home suffering through the most uncharacteristic of seasons - their club-record scoreless streak (just shy of the MLS record) was ended last weekend, but their club-record losing run is now six games after a 2-1 loss to Houston Dynamo. The recent run cost Steve Sampson his job this week after less than two years in charge. In addition, the Galaxy have yet to win a home game this season - their lone win at The Home Depot Center came earlier this year against Chivas USA, in the first meeting between the clubs, a Chivas home game. This time the "visitors", Chivas come into the game riding the first winning streak in club history, their 3-1 win against Colorado on Saturday following a victory against Chicago Fire the weekend before - with both matches played at home.

LOS ANGELES GALAXY - OUT: DF Kyle Veris (L knee sprain); QUESTIONABLE: MF Cobi Jones (R foot sprain); MF Guillermo Gonzalez (L hamstring strain); MF Peter Vagenas (R quadriceps strain) ...
CHIVAS USA - OUT: MF Ramón Ramírez (L knee sprain), MF Mike Muñoz (concussion)

LOS ANGELES GALAXY: Landon Donovan, Chris Albright (USA; 2006 World Cup); Cornell Glen (Trinidad & Tobago; 2006 World Cup)
CHIVAS USA: Claudio Suarez (Mexico; 2006 World Cup); John O'Brien (USA; 2006 World Cup) ...

WARNINGS: CHV: Ante Razov (suspended next yellow card); Jesse Marsch (suspended next yellow card)

ALL-TIME (5 meetings): Galaxy 5 wins (0 shootout), 10 goals ... Chivas USA 0 wins (0 shootout), 2 goals ... 0 draws
GALAXY HOME GAME: (2 meetings): Galaxy 2 wins (0 shootout), 5 goals ... Chivas USA 0 wins (0 shootout), 1 goal ... 0 draws

L.A. Galaxy with a terrible situation with injuried, banned and absentees for the matches of World Cup 2006. Poor soccer played and without important results in latest match. Not sure Chivas wins this match, but i'm sure not lose it.

Prediction = 2 (+0.5)

Re: MLS June 8-9

Good bet. Chivas wants revenge from the last time

They held the lead until the 80th minute when Galaxy get 2 goals.
