UEFA CL (22nd - 23rd Nov)

Panathinaikos (0, -0.5) 2.00 v Udinese - The Greeks are undefeated at home in the CL this year and last year, with the only spots on the record being draws to Arsenal and Barcelona. 2nd spot is still up for grabs, and with Werder playing in Barcelona this is a great chance for the Greeks to snatch 2nd spot. Udinese have leaked 7 goals in the CL playing away this year.

Fenerbahce v AC Milan 1.90 - AC Milan must win this match, and I really don't rate the Turks here.

FC Porto 1.53 v Rangers - Backing against Rangers is more like a short term investment nowadays. There is absolutely no morale in the Rangers squad, I don't think they can sink any lower.

Liverpool 1.72 v Real Betis - Liverpool at Anfield at these odds? Yes please.

Depending on the result in the other match, a draw might be enough for them to advance to the 2nd round. Ajax are in the worst form ever, I'm leaving that alone (and I'll be cheering for Prague ).

I agree with Sadriel on AC Milan. A must win, no excuses. It's my only play of the day.

Btw, PSV are having injury troubles. Ooijer and Cocu have the flu and Afellay is having problems with his knee. It's probably gonna be a game-time decision, but those 3 won't be 100% tonight. Schalke might be a decent shot here.

Aargghh, didnt realise Milan are playing tomorrow.

Villarreal are without Riquelme and Forlan. Add the fact that Man U have to win. Man U -1 asian @ 2.06 looks solid to me. 5 units.

(This will be the first time ever I'll be cheering for Ruud)

Re: UEFA CL (22nd - 23rd Nov)

Sadriel.. which books did you get @1.53 for Porto over Gers?
i only get 1.50 at w.hills

what about Rosenborg @2.15 at home to beat Olympiacos:
norwegian champions league every presents are always solid at home and the greeks are 0-4 this year in the group.... rosenborg even beat them 3-1 in Greece a few weeks back.

bet365, but they have them at 1.44 now Leaving that one alone now

Rosenborg actually have a good chance, especially considering Olympiakos haven't won a game yet. I might take Rosenborg and Liverpool on a double, I always feel safe taking home teams in the CL.

Re: UEFA CL (22nd - 23rd Nov)

Real Madrid v Lyon, over 2.5 goals, 1.80

I'm trying not to over analyse these games, and the first thing I thought when I saw this match up was 'goals'. I know Raul and Ronaldo are out, but Ronaldo is showing his age and Raul.... it's Raul. They have lots of scoring options, and there's no possible way they can play any worse than they did against Barcelona. And there's no way they hold a clean sheet against Lyon either.

Not even close.

As said, Milan for me tonight.
I'm leaving Schalke - PSV alone, as Ooijer and Cocu are expected to start.

Re: UEFA CL (22nd - 23rd Nov)

cant believe rangers drew 1-1 in Porto... they had 1 shot on goal all night and scored..
the Porto coach is one of the most retarded in Europe... when they went 1-0 and totally dominating the game he took players off and tried to defend the goal, even tho rangers were not in the game anyway

but well done Gers
