Dutch Eredivisie

Right guys, the Dutch Eredivsie kicks off tomorrow, with AZ - Sparta. And Heracles - PSV, Ajax - Den Haag en Feyenoord - NAC on Saturday and/or Sunday.
First round, with some very interesting plays.
First of all AZ. They surprised everyone last year, with a great run in the UEFA Cup (they shouldve been in the final) and they had a great national season as well, finishing third. There was a lot of interest in some of the AZ players, but only Kromkamp has been sold to Villarreal. Landzaat, Mathijssen and Perez are still at the club. And they have a new striker, Shota Arveladze. He used to play at the Glasgow Rangers. It's an improvement to what they had last season (Robin Nelisse, Im really not a fan of him, and now he's sold to FC Utrecht). And AZ have a new coach as well, Louis van Gaal. He guy still thinks he's the best in the world. But his style of coaching is similar to Co Adriaanse, who left to Porto.
And then Sparta, a promoted side. My best mate is a Sparta fanatic, and Ive heard everything about Sparta's pre-season. It was horrible. I saw some pictures of a pre-season match against a non-league team at my local TV-station, and even my grandpa would be a better defender than the clowns at Sparta. I have to say that Sparta have a decent attacking force, and they should be able to score some goals for them this season. But they have to score a lot of goals to win matches with such a bad defensive line.
If you can find AZ around 1.40, hit it! Over is very likely too.

Heracles - PSV.
Again a promoted side against a big name. Heracles bought some old guys during the summer, such as Rob Maas (he came over from the Germany 2nd Division, I believe) and a Japanse striker (he was tested at my club Feyenoord, but according to Feyenoord's coach Koeman, it was a bit of a disappointment). Not really shocking transfers, and I see them a clear 'favorite' for relegation.
PSV on the other hand lost their whole midfield; van Bommel to Barca, Vogel to Milan ( ) and Park to Man U. They bought some quality replacements (Simons, Vayrynen), but they are weaker than last year. But I still see them as a title contender. And they should be able to trash Heracles. PSV ML is around 1.35. Thats decent, but a -1,5 should easily hit as well.
Note that Heracles doesnt play on real grass. I dont know the English word for it, but it's a sort of artifical grass, like this picture: Grass. PSV is not really used to it, and thats why they have been training on it for the last couple of days. If they get used to it, it should favour them, because they have much more technical skills than Heracles. And ofcourse a perfectly flat pitch is favouring the technical side.

Ajax - Den Haag
Watch out! Ajax is now around 1.15, and that's crazy, because the match is being played at a neutral ground, without fans!
This is because Ajax - Den Haag is risky match, hooligan-wise. Amsterdam doesnt have enough police on Sunday, because of other events in the city, and that's why Amsterdam banned this match for their city. Now the Dutch FA is planning a new stadium, without fans and somewhere on the other side of the country (there were some rumours that they moved the match to Germany ). Ajax doesnt agree with all this, and tomorrow morning they are going to court with this. I think they want to move the match to another date, so the Amsterdam police have enough men to organise the match.
But if the match is being played at neutral ground, Den Haag X2 is the real value here!

Feyenoord - NAC
Normally a clear win for my team. But not this week. There's a lot of shit going on at Feyenoord. And it's all because of 1 man: Salomon Kalou. That stupid piece of shit wants to join our rivals, PSV. He said it right in front of the camera: 'I want to join PSV'. But ofcourse Feyenoord doesnt want to sell their best player to their rivals. Now Kalou is upset, Kalou's management is upset, and Feyenoord is upset about the whole situation.
And there's more. Last week a national newspaper reported that they had a document that said Kalou was sold to a Portugese company. Again, Kalou upset because he didnt know anything about it, and again Feyenoord upset because they didnt know about it either. Now Feyenoord is saying that the document has false signatures and Feyenoord have reported this to the police. By the way, Dirk Kuijt was involved too in this situation. But he's mentally much stronger than Kalou, so he should be able to forget this shit. But Im not so sure if Kalou can give his best for us. Could a pre-season be any worse?
Feyenoord @ 1.35 is definately no value!

Groningen - RBC.
No time for a preview, but Groningen ML @ 1.65 is very nice. RBC was shit in pre-season and Groningen bought some quality players this summer.

Re: Dutch Eredivise

Ok guys, time to make some serious money this weekend.

The big teams playing at home this weekend against pisspoor teams.

AZ x PSV x FEYENOORD @ 2.05 (9 units).

AZ vs. RBC Roosendaal

AZ have started the season very well. Last round they had a VERY impressive win against Vitesse, 0-5. And believe me, playing away against Vitesse is not easy.
RBC on the other hand are at the bottom of the table, were they belong. Just 1 draw and 2 losses.

PSV vs. Utrecht

PSV have started this season a bit shaky, lacking creative players upfront. But close to the end of the transfer deadline, PSV bought a very technical player: Aruna Kone. He will give PSV that little bit of extra they were looking for. Add the fact that they also contracted Michael Reiziger (70 caps for Holland) from Middlesborough, and now we can say PSV is ready for the big challenge to retain the championship.
Utrecht have some problems upfront, with a whole new attacking force (Nelisse and some French dude). Especially the last match against Twente (Utrecht lost 1-2) both guys looked like there's no connecting between them. I expect PSV to win this very comfortable.

FEYENOORD vs. Nec Nijmegen.

Yeah, my own team. I rarely bet on them (I'm always a bit negative, that's the price you pay for supporting a team who nearly never win the championship ), but this time I feel VERY confident. Confidence, thats something my guys are having plenty of after the win against Ajax 2 weeks ago. Kuijt and Kalou are gonna kill the Nec goalkeeper. The poor guy is one of the worst goalkeepers in the league. Last year he was supposed to be Feyenoord's first goalkeeper, but he made so many mistakes that our coach had to replace him. He even got send away after the season, and he's trying to get confidence at Nec. But it's not really working. Too bad I can't find a movie on the internet of his mistake last week. But believe me, it's going to feature on a DVD with hilarious mistakes.

PSV - Utrecht 1-0.

PSV missed a penalty, 10 mins from fulltime.
Luckily my parlay is still alive, as AZ are leading 3-0.

Re: Dutch Eredivise

An early play for me:

RKC vs. Utrecht (not to lose) @ 1.90.

Going for the value here. RKC have won 5 matches in a row, but dont let the statistics fool you. Theyve faced some poor teams, and they havent played that great either. Its about time their run comes to an end. And I expect that run to end against Utrecht, who are finding their form again.
