nah, stanjames generally uses the european handicap which has like -1, + 1, and the tie (exactly 1) option. -1 on the Euro handicap is the same as Asian handicap -1.5.

but a winner anyway.

anyone know what price the over 2.5 was in the Spain match?

Re: Euro 2008 Group Stage Matches

This Turkey game is shore to have cards in it imo, so the 9points and above on Betfair is gold.

Re: Euro 2008 Group Stage Matches

Portugal vs Czech Republic X @ 3.35 (2/3)

Both teams will be happy with a draw here. They both have rock solid defenses. I don't think any team will force the issue if a draw is on the scoreboard in the 60th minute. Czech Republic is undervalued here. They did finish top of the group in qualifying in a group which also featured Germany.

Switzerland over Turkey @ 2.30 (1)

Why are you so suprised Switzerland is the favourite AS?

They are one of the host countries. Host countries have had very nice results over the past in the big championships. I have to admit that those teams were of different quality but still. Switzerland should have deserved a point against Czech Republic and Turkey didn't look all that impressive against Portugal. Turkey were lucky to be in such an easy qualifying group with Greece, Norway, Bosnia, Moldova, Hungary and Malta. Still they managed to lose 2 and draw 3 games. They lost away at Bosnia-Herzegovina and looked awful in the draw at Malta. Switzerland did take a draw out of the friendly against Argentina and beat Holland in another friendly. They have a solid defense and creative players like Barnetta, Yakin and Behrami who can force things at the other end.

GL everyone!
