Manchester United 1.50

Tottenham 6.00
Early thoughts:

Liverpool should account for Sunderland and that's not a bad price for what I believe is a different Liverpool team this season (although not a price to put your house on!) Hopefully the Reds can get some decent results on the road this year.

Bolton to get their first win over Reading is tempting at 2.10

West Ham at 1.91 is also tempting over Wigan

Chelsea/Portsmouth draw may be worth a stab at 5.00 if Pompey can be stubborn - certainly more value than the 1.25 on Chelski!

Man City will be tough for Arsenal to break down so the 1.53 on the Gunners does NOT represent value. Perhaps draw at 3.75??

Everton at evens against Blackburn

After trouncing a hapless Derby last weekend, Tottenham face a winless Manchester United. Some might argue it's a bad time to face them because of the desire to get their first win, but I'm in the other capm and think it's a great time to face them because of the pressure. However from memory, Spurs have a poor record at Trafford but 1.50 on Man Utd is rubbish. Skip or over 2.5 @ 1.90.

Re: EPL 25-26 August

Spurs need Lennon back plus Ledley King and Dawson. That clean sheet and win 4-0 win against Derby isn't anything to go by, there defence is very poor. Derby are a poor team and Martin Jol is under alot of pressure to get a Champions League spot and i don't see that happening. Jol will be gone by the end of the season or even earlier. Man United should beat Spurs and comfortably too. 1.40 for United win seems tasty in a double.

Re: EPL 25-26 August

-Bolton have been extremely poor in their first three games, all of which have resulted in defeat, while Reading have drawn away to Man. Utd and beaten Everton.

-I'd prefer to wait on Liverpool at this point in time, that price doesn't really indicate value for me.

-Aston Villa have been passable against Liverpool and Newcastle, and meet a side who are notoriously pathetic away from Craven Cottage. Villa the bet of the round.

-While I'm not a fan of the disgusting football he plays, Sam Allardyce knows how to get a result. Newcastle +0.5 at 1.50ish appears ok in the north-eastern derby.
