Dutch Eredivisie final round

Bit early maybe but I have a strong feeling some of the current prices won't last long. And ofcourse I don't want you to miss them.

Heerenveen tb Feyenoord @ 2.10
Battle for 5th place (to ensure a play offs place with number 2,3,4 for 1 Champions League ticket). The current situation is:

5 Feyenoord 53 points (negative goal difference)
6 Heerenveen 52 points
7 Roda JC 51 points
8 Groningen 51 points

So here's the deal: When Heerenveen and Feyenoord draw, Roda or Groningen are very likely to take 5th place. They have a far superior goal difference to Feyenoord. So both Heerenveen and Feyenoord have to play to win. Well, it's pretty obvious which team can attack better: Heerenveen's striker Alves has 30 (!!!!) goals this season while Feyenoord's "superstar" Charisteas managed to get only 9 goals and is completely out of form at the moment. And apart from that, even in Feyenoord's best years, playing away to Heerenveen has always been very very difficult (only 1 Feyenoord win in last 9 years)

Willem II v Ajax -1,5 @ 1.60

Battle for the title. Believe it or not but AZ, Ajax and PSV are all level on points. AZ have a better goal difference though so Ajax will look for goals, goals, goals and more goals. Willem II are actually not the best friends with AZ, so the Willem II fans have already said that they don't mind losing big to Ajax.

Oh I have also some special bets as well, but the odds have dropped dramatically last night:

AZ, PSV and Ajax to score 8-10 goals @ 4.00
AZ, PSV and Ajax to score 11-14 goals @ 15.00

Re: Dutch Eredivisie final round

Willem II v. Ajax over 3.5 goals @ 1.91
PSV v. Vitesse over 3.5 goals @ 1.91

Good luck

Re: Dutch Eredivisie final round

Where did you get those? Ajax will win with double figures, so that bet is gold nimmy.

Oh never mind, just found out Centrebet are offering the same. I'm taking that over 3,5 in the Ajax match as well.

Re: Dutch Eredivisie final round

How are they working out who wins the Championship. I am hoping AZ can do it. They truly deserve it.

Obviously straby can confirm this but I'm pretty sure the top team gets direct entry with teams 2-4 into a playoff system of some sort at the end of the season

Yep, top team gets direct entry to the Champions League group stage. Teams 2,3,4 and 5 with battle it out in a playoff system to get an entry to the 3rd qualification round for the Champions League.

When all teams end up with the same points, goal difference will decide the champion. AZ are 6 goals ahead of Ajax and 7 goals on PSV.

Re: Dutch Eredivisie final round

Yeah but if ajax win and PSV and Alkmaar all win, what determines the Championship. Example would be by goal difference or number of losses, home record etc.

Ermm, I believe I was quite clear in my last post.

Goal difference will be the deciding factor when they all win today.

Excelsior v AZ is live and free to air on "The Business Channel" on Turksat (42 east). You should be able to see that in Israel if you have a dish (even I can see it in Holland).

I will let you know when I find a free livestream.
