Tennis Computer Games

What tennis games have people court, I have Smarsh Court Tennis 2 but i want a game where i can compete throughout the world in loads of tournaments and actually play all rounds up to the final etc where you can have a career.

I once had a game called Compaq tennis on PC which was awesome gameplay and allowed you to do this, just graphics were poor.

Virtual Tennis 3 (Sega) looks awesome for forthcoming Playstation 3

Re: Tennis Computer Games

Try Topspin Tennis for PS2 or Xbox. It has career mode and sponsorship's by Addidas, Yonex etc. Not a bad game and graphics are decent.

Re: Tennis Computer Games

Is that Virtua Tennis 3 Tennis Master and is that out yet on 360 or about to come out.

I was reading somewhere that Sega's Virtua Tennis is set to completely overhaul the game to rival the popular Smash Court series, i used to love Virtua Tennis in arcade and just wanted a game where you can be a player and compete all over world.

Why cant they just do a tennis game where you have all the players rather than just 12 and are able to compete in loads of different tournaments all over the world

Re: Tennis Computer Games

I really want them to do a game with all the players on too!!! if they can do it with football games with every league in europe and everywhere, why can they not put the top 100 or something on a tennis game???

Gustavo Kuerten Tommy Robredo Rafa Nadal Fernando González
JCF Carlos Moyá Fernando Verdasco
Feliciano Lopez Paradorn Srichaphan Jarkko Nieminen Thomas Johansson
Juan Ignacio Chela Filippo Volandri Marat Safin Frank Dancevic

Re: Tennis Computer Games

I recently downloaded the demo of Tennis Elbow from Mana Games. It was pretty cool. Try it!

I am not affiliated with Mana Games

If you look in their forums, there is a file that adds all the latest players and tournaments or something.

Re: Tennis Computer Games

try Roland Garros 2005 (it's based on Smash Court Tennis 2, but includes career and Davis Cup) for PS2.

Tennis Elbow has the most complete Tour (complete ATP Tour + Challengers + Futures + Davis Cup with Zone 1) but the playstyle is pretty poor. Tennis Elbow Manager is going to be realeased soon... but it will be only Manager.

Best tennis game is Dream Match Tennis Pro, but the Tour only includes 12 tournaments. (www.bimboosoft.com).

PAW Results 2010/2009/2008/2007/2006/2005:
Winner: / Stuttgart / Viña, Miami, Umag / Stuttgart / Viña / Davis Cup /
Final: / / Paris TMS / Sauipe, B.Aires, Monaco, Umag / Acapulco / Paris TMS / Tokyo
SF: / / Estoril, Shangai / / / / Stuttgart, Palermo
QF: Brisbane/ Umag, USOpen / / Australia, Nottingham, Olympics, Bangkok / Australia, Sauipe / / Kitzbuhel, Beijing

PAW Rank: 14

FITD Champ: Queens 2010 / Miami, Newport & Stuttgart 2009 / Hamburg & Kitzbuhel 2008
Suicide Champ: Johannesburg 2009

Re: Tennis Computer Games

I have Tennis Elbow. The gameplay isn't bad. The season mode alone makes it worth it for tennis freaks like me. And online is pretty fun and competitive. Certainly more realistic than any online console tennis currently. But, there's not a large community.
