Djokovic vs Nadal

An amazing match here for the fans, with the top seed and World Number 1 Novak Djokovic taking on 14 time slam winner, Rafael Nadal. On form a win for Djokovic seems inevitable, but Nadal loves these big matches, and also leads there overall H2H by a wide margin. In the end, the fans may well prove the difference, they will surely be rooting for the man who's won the Australian Open 5 times, and the Sydney Masters 4 times. A interesting match for sure at night time on Centre, Djokovic looks ready to take this one however in straight sets. The crowd will certainly get there money's worth!

Kyrgios vs Berdych

This is a huge match, the first ever between the two. Kyrgios' strongest season on the AT Tour behind him, he looks to start this year with a bang. The crowd remember his fairytale run to the semis last year, and without there help he would struggle. Berdych's own form is weak, so an upset may well be on the cards... Kyrgios in 3

Wawrinka vs Jones

For all those who will dismiss this one as a walkover - DON'T! This match has tons of potential, especially Stans shakiness against lesser opposition. The one reason to expect Jones losing in 2 is his inexperience. He was a decent juniors player, but in his first professional match he will possibly be overwhelmed by the occasion. Jones should show signs of brilliance, but unfortunately Stan is not the Man you want to debut against. Who knows - John could well surprise us

Djokovic 6-3 Nadal (fatigue 1-3)

Djokovic wins the toss and chooses to serve. Nadal used to have a great return, but his form has gone down a lot. It pays off, Djokovic holds to love, playing some solid tennis. In the next game, Djokovic applies full pressure, and breaks with ease. There are no more breaks as Djokovic serves it out at 5-3, to the delight of the fans and lets out a roar, he knows Nadal is done. Nadal keeps a straight face, but deep down he's already planning his plane to Melbourne.

Kyrgios 5-7 Berdych (fatigue 4-5)

The fans shout at the top of their lungs as their man enters the stadium. They know they can see him through this one. It's Berdych who wins the toss, his decision is to receive first. The set plays out on serve, until 5-5. Kyrgios falls down 0-40, and smashes his raquet in frustration, the umpire's response is 'code violation, warning Mr. Kyrgios' to which the crowd boos angrily. Kyrgios fights back to 30-40, but then double faults. Berdych has no trouble holding, and he looks to his coach with a grin. At the sit-down Kyrgios mutters endlessly to himself.

Wawrinka 6-1 Jones (fatigue 4-18)

A bad match-up for the young Brit. He looks confident, but can't quite get the tactics right. With Wawrinka winning the toss he serves first, knowing his serve is much more reliable, and he's never seen Jones serve. So it's no surprise he uses the first return game to adjust his style, Jones holding after deuce to make it 1-1. From then on Wawrinka goes on a rampage. He looks inspired mentally, he loves the Australian atmosphere. He serves it out at 5-1, and loses just one point on serve in the set. Jones is competitive on his own serve, but he can't raise his level on important points like Wawrinka does. But Jones knows there are ways he can improve. He has been feeding all his shots safely into the court. He has to go for lines, Wawrinka is having far too much time. If he adds a little more fizz to his serve, Wawrinka is known to struggle against big servers. The main problem for Jones, he looks exhausted...

Hammond 2-6 Tsonga (fatigue 11-6) written by _RAMIREZ_

The young Aussie plays well, but Tsonga seems to bully him round the court. Tsonga decides to receive first, he has watched a replay of Hammond at the Junior US Open, and understands his serve is one of his weaker points. He races out to a 4-0 lead, but Hammond starts to familiarise his surroundings and holds twice. Promising signs for the next set, and he doesn't seem too tired
