too as a matter of fact points are seldom described explicit or announced clearly, hence, it sometimes hampers a beginner and sometimes make it not easy to get into enjoyable games.

a person who created this thread, became a MTF member to learn things tennis in late March, 2015. initial plan was to make a read-only member, no immediate plan to games, but somehow started to play games not with any plan just for fun.

but while playing games, it was noticed that playing games is an excellent tool for developing match forecast skills. besides playing games brings some good friends, too.

some games have simple rules, so that we can play it by just to see and to follow a game thread. some are not so simple, sometimes you are requested to read/understand rules before entry. and some games require commitment beforehand,

aim of this thread is to share what i have experienced so far. there might be posts based on misunderstanding, or ones to which further discussion is needed.

so everybody is welcome to comment to make finally a quick and brief guide for a beginner. should experienced game players who knows rules you are, please advise and help beginners with reference of post in an existent rule thread. such contribution will be appreciated much.

for myself, i shall write here every time when there is something noteworthy.

:D

Tennis Win Streak

Tennis Win Streak

about game

no commitment required to enter the game.
you can start any day, even right now, as long as a game is open, virtually every day.
non knock outs; the game is to compete how long you can pile up correct picks.
incorrect pick does not mean you are out. instead, simply you should just keep posting.
win streak count is reset by a pick that is not compatible with match outcome.

summary

simple, but, challenging to make win streak long.
stats provided by a game manager, which helps to improve forecasts skills much.
newly introduced
you may be able to help a manager to make game practices and rules.
game design, excellent.

how to send pm to a member, whose post is not available.

how to send pm(private mail) to a member, whose post is not available.

UserCP> Control Panel a column leftmost of the page > Private Messages, second row from the top > Send New Messages, second row.

TM TENNIS – THE TENNIS EXPERIENCE

pick was supposed to be sent to a member, not a fellow game player, nor manager, thus whose post was not available to me. search by a member's name yielding massive results but no results direct showing member's pm address.

me, never sending a pm to unknown member before, no way to send one without member's post or received pm.

while fellow game players and a game manager tried to help, it seemed difficult for them to understand where a newcomer got stuck. the traces of the happening are posts #78 through #91 at

In the game, participants choose and pick 05 winners of all main draw matches (and sometimes some qualifying draw matches) and are placed in a RR System. So, the TOP4* play a knock-out system for the TITTLE. That means each participant plays a different participant and whoever predicted the BEST RESULT of each CHOSEN MATCH correctly, WIN ONE SET against the opponent. WHO WIN 03 SETS moves on to the next round.
*iF we have more than 12 players, the TOP8 will moves on to the nest round (QUARTERS of FINAL).

summary
thanks to rr (round robin) system, game players can know each other better through playing.
above is a definite advantage of TM Tennis over tennis tipping.
probably newly introduced
round robin system expecting to attract more players, especially new game players.
game design, excellent.
