Welcome to the Mens Tennis Tour sign-up thread! Here you can sign up for the best game with the best players of the game!



How do I play?

Choose any current or retired professional tennis player on the ATP Tour, that has been ranked within the TOP 200.

It's very simple, fun, and one of the most entertaining games around. If you appreciate point games, organization, beautiful tournament threads, than you'll gladly want to play on the Mens Tennis Tour.

The scoring of this game is exactly like playing tennis. But since this is the Internet, you obviously aren't playing tennis but you are playing 'virtual-tennis'.


To play the game and win matches all you have to do is send in a list of 1 to 13 in numbers. The person who has the highest number in each section of the 1-13 numbers wins a game of the set.
In Doubles, we’ll combined the points of both players, so you don't have to send in new points and the scoring is the exact same format as singles.
If both players sent the same point in that particular game of the match, there’ll be coin-toss. So this sounds pretty confusing but it's very easy to understand when you look at the example below.

You will send your numbers to Jenks10s.

So this is an example of Andy Roddick vs. Lleyton Hewitt

THE SCORING SYSTEM



All you just need to do is spread 1 to 13 into 13 parts for 3 sets


Example:



Andy Roddick (USA) sent:
Set 1:13-6-2-3-8-10-1-4-11-5-7-9-12
Set 2:13-12-11-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
Set 3:1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13


Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) sent:
Set 1:2-7-3-10-5-1-6-11-4-9-8-12-13
Set 2:9-6-11-2-3-8-1-12-5-13-4-7-10
Set 3:10-7-4-9-6-11-13-5-1-12-8-3-2



The Score/Result:



First Set:
1-0 Roddick
1-1
2-1 Hewitt
3-1
3-2
3-3
4-3
5-3
5-4
Game First Set: Lleyton Hewitt leads Andy Roddick 6-4
Second Set:
1-0 Roddick
2-0
3-0
4-0

Lleyton Hewitt tied with Andy Roddick 6-4 2-6


Third Set:
1-0 Hewitt

Game, Set and Match: Lleyton Hewitt


Lleyton Hewitt (AUS) def. Andy Roddick (USA) 6-4 2-6 6-0


Lleyton Hewitt would then move into the next round of the tournament.

How do I sign-up and play tournaments?


All you have to do is select a player you want to be and their Nationality.

Also it is compulsary that you send NEW POINTS atleast every 2-3 weeks, or you really wont have a winning chance in the game.

How does it work when both players have the same number for a game?

eg if Hewitt and Roddick both have the 13 as the first number for the first set?

I think this would be a good game but If it becomes popular and we have five set grand slams I think it would taker you four or five hours to check the scores and make the results of the first round.

Champions deserve whatever they win playing within the laws of the game
