Tennis Teams (we can always change the name to something better)

You will commit on the thread and the manager will organize teams of a certain number based on how many people commit to the week. The teams will be fair and will not be changed after the teams have been made. You may request ONE person that you would like to be on a team with, but there are no promises that you will be together. This game (if approved) will start after the summer.

Here’s how it works.

These tournaments will only take place during weeks with at least 64 ATP players. It might be Challengers or ATPs and it could be a combination of the two if voted. All ATP players playing that week will be placed in a LONG list and are placed in random order.

Like this...

This is from week 26 challengers!
Each team would have certain numbers before the list of players came out in that random order.

T1

1
45
67
96
75
3

T2

2
6
18
46
20
10

T3

38
51
68
12
9
71

That's just an example. All randomization is done by: random.org. Managers will use the LIST RANDOMIZER to make teams

The numbers would match up to the player next to that number (as shown in the code) and they would play with those teams that way, the manager can’t make one team unfair.

T1

1 - Clezar
45 - Ungur
67 - Soeda
96 - Sorensen
75 - Pashanski
3 - Safwat

T2

2 - Cuevas
6 - Giannessi
18 - Zverev
46 - Wu
20 - Milot
10 - Diez

T3

38 - Granollers
51 - Carballes Baena
68 - Souza
12 - Caruso
9 - Samper-Montana
71 - Ignatik

The way that your team would win is whoever had the most winners of all the tournaments that week.

Tiebreaker:

# of SF
# of QF
# of R16
# of R32

How to Commit

In,
I request _____________.

Example Teams

Say these people commit. These are made up names:

3) iheartscrambledeggs246
4) gumballmachine52
5) bungeeguy
6) boxhorner
7) popsiclestick
8) foodfight
9) LittleNerosPizzaGuy

The manager will assign one of the tennis teams to one of the other teams randomly. Manager will prove it's random.

They will be put into teams of three...

hotdogman234/bungeeguy/LittleNerosPizzaGuy

How to Manage Tennis Teams
Note: Managers can not play that week that they are managing

1. Open a new excel spreadsheet (Google Drive or Microsoft Excel)
2. Make 2 pages and name the first one: Players, name the second one: Tennis Teams.
3. In the first one, paste the players in the randomized order in B5 and make the background yellow for visual purposes. Then take a screenshot and post the randomized order on the thread. Also in the first one, paste the players who committed in F5. On that same page, make teams based on their teammate requests. If you can't give everybody their requested teammate, don't worry because they will just have to deal with whoever is on their team.
4. On the second page, divide the number of players in the main draw by how many teams there are. If you get a decimal number, round the number down to the nearest whole number. You might have extra players and just put them on random teams.
5. Every time a player loses, put a strike through the player or bold the losers. Once a team has lost all of their players, bold all of their players.
6. After every round, take a screenshot of each teams' results and post it on the thread.
7. Once there is only one team standing, post the winner and the winning teams' team.

If anybody would like to be part of the Tennis Team Committee please PM awesomedude333 or BMT360 for more info.

Also, if somebody would like to make an excel spreadsheet with formula, send the download link to awesomedude333 or BMT360.
