Re: Baseball Playoffs

Very lucky night for Glavine, SL kept lining out right to the infield, few feet either way and you have hits. Look forward to the Tigers getting ahold of him if the Mets make it...

No but a win from them would improve the value of the Tigers WS bet I made two days ago... They need to win the next one and got a shot with Carp.

Re: Baseball Playoffs

One of my "trusted advisors" as told me this is a very solid bet, I don't bet on baseball anymore and only do so on the odd ocassion so take it with a grain of salt.

OVERS 7.5 Cards v Mets - $1.96

good luck

1. ST LOUIS, (CARPENTER, C)
2. NY METS, (MAINE, J) 1.81
2.05

That's abit odd, how come the Mets is not the favour as they are playing at home and have better record then St Louis too.

Carpenter is the best pitcher in the NL...since the start of 2004 season..he is 55-16...and John Maine gave up 7 runs iin 5 ING to St.Louis in his last start 10 days ago.
best records means nothing in the playoffs

Re: Baseball Playoffs

nice start on yer play bg...
I landed both the Tiggers and the under for a nice profit, hoping the Cards can keep pounding Maine and Carpenter tightens up to get the sweep...
