Thurs MLB Play

Mariners/White Sox under 10

I love these unders with some breathing room. You may be sweating it in the 9th inning but they so often hold up. Take the sure pitcher`s duels with the 7, 7 1/2s etc. and one blow up sinks you....

The White Sox are sinking in the playoff race and not hitting, have scored 4 or fewer runs in 8 of their last 10 games. And the Mariner`s Woods is not a bad pitcher, has a 3.38 road ERA. Last outing, 2 earned runs, 6 innings pitched against KC. And the Mariner bullpen has been tight. The Mariners have been hitting but against suck pitching from the Rangers. I see it slowing down tonight. Seattle played last night and had a long flight from Tx. Chicago`s Vasquez has a 2.57 ERA in his last 5 games and the Mariners have hit only .231 against the WS this season.

Detroit/Baltimore is a good under total bet. Benson pitches well at home and Robertson has given up almost nothing this month. Total is 9. As to a winner, you get a lot of surprises about now and teams that are out of it are not only playing spoiler but for spots on the rooster.

I very rarely bet on the Padres or DBacks, both teams too flaky for me. If I bet anything there it would be the over 7.

Re: Thurs MLB Play

I also think the Pirates are going to sweep the Dodgers, risky but serious value at +200. Pirates have been on a spoiler frenzy, going for a second sweep of a team leading their division. Billingsly is pitching for the Dodgers and he isn`t so good...

Re: Thurs MLB Play

Those are my two plays

Seattle/Chicago Under 10
Detroit/Baltimore Under 9

May go for a late play on the Pirates to win.

Re: Thurs MLB Play

Well Detroit threw away the game but that doesn`t hurt you when betting under. 4-3 final, take your ticket, cash it in...

Re: Thurs MLB Play

Cash in the second ticket, if there have been any readers.... Mariners over WS 9-0, under by a run. Grand slam homer by Seattle top of the 9th, in by a hair, whewww...

Re: Thurs MLB Play

Took a lose, major wimpout from the Pirates. Stranded runners all night, men on third with one out or none. Sweeps are tough to pull off psychologically thus the enticing +200. My mistake, some bullets should have been dodged...
