MLB Friday play

Record, 1-0

Angels/Rangers under 9 1/2

Tejada has a 2.34 ERA in his last five starts and the Angels have not been hitting well. Weaver has given up 3 or fewer earned runs in 14 of his last 16 starts and the bullpen has been strong.

Re: MLB Friday play

I am on three more, all with half the value of the top pick.

Padres over Dodgers +124

This is a crucial series for SD in their quest for the playoffs. They are 5-0 at Dodger Stadium this year and lead the series 11-3. Wells is a big game pitcher having pitched in two world series. And the Padres have the best closer in the league in Hoffman. Good value here as a dog.

As/White Sox under 9

Garland has a 2.87 ERA in his last 10 starts and the As are not known for tallying up runs. The As Loaiza was stellar in August giving up only 7 earned runs in five starts. He struggled in his last two games but I can easily see him in form tonight at home, friday night under the lights. The As have excellent fan support.

Royals/Mariners under 10 1/2

Granted it was a 10-8 score last night but I do not see that repeating. Hudson has a 2.87 home ERA. The Mariners, prior to last night, only scored 6 runs combined in their previous four games. On the mound for Seattle, an AAA callup who lead the Pacific league in strikeouts, plenty of question marks by him however it takes 11 total runs to beat me. Good value.

Re: MLB Friday play

I like yr picks here, SD to beat the dodgers is good call, SD have to keep winning to stay in front of phil for the wildcard.

Re: MLB Friday play

2-2, Moral of the story? Stay with your top play even if you only have one and forget the rest. Maddox isnt that good anymore, Padres just didn`t show up to play ball, 2 hits, probably jet lag as they were in Ohio yesterday. Seattle/KC bet was a disaster from the start.
