Astros first 5 innings +0,5 @1.794
Ricky Nolasco is out with a possible season-ending injury, Andy Miller will fill in for Florida. The guy was horrible even in double A, he made 18 starts and had a 6.01 ERA with a 1.80 WHIP. He had no control whatsoever, walking 61 guys in 85.1 innings. Astros will have Nelson Figueroa who has a solid season going.
Padres ml @1.80
I don't really understand this odds. Yes the Padres has a quite big lead in the NL West but if they keep losing against mediocre teams like Milwaukee they could get in trouble. They lost the first 2 games, now they will have Jon Garland to go against Manny Parra. Great difference in the season or recent forms.
Garland 3.25 ERA, 1.30 WHIP
Parra 5.36 ERA, 1.68 WHIP
Last 3 games:
Garland 0.90 ERA, 1.05 WHIP
Parra 5.06 ERA, 1.69 WHIP
To be honest, Parra is one of the worst starting pitchers in the whole league. Torrealba and Jerry Hairston are unavaliable for San Diego and Hart is on the bench for Milwaukee. The bullpens are like heaven and hell. Padres with a great bullpen, Brewers with a shit one. Stauffer is not avaliable for SD and McClendon out for MIL, also Axford and Braddock pitched more than an inning in the last 2 days.
All in all, Padres offense is bad but not this bad. At least i hope so...
White Sox ml @1.943
Danks was hit hard in his last outing, he always comes back strong after those.
The White Sox loss was pretty unbelievable. They outhit Kansas 10-7, but that's not story. The winning run scored after the biggest blown ball/strike call in the history of baseball. Gregor Blanco walked after one of the "balls" was right in the middle of the strike zone. I'm not kidding, it really was. Kansas commentators laughed for about a minute after that. Then stolen base, stolen base, basehit... 2 bigger bets won but is really should have been a sweep.
