Re: Mlb 2010

Giants ml @2.02

They are losing round in the playoff race. They went 1-2 against the Padres at home and lost to the Phillies yestersay, both of those teams are rivals. They got Cain today who is their best pitcher with Lincecum in deep funk and they go against Blanton. It would have been a strong bet a week ago, now with Utley and Victorino back for the Phillies it's just a normal bet.

Orioles -1 @1.99

Now this is a strong bet imo. Orioles offense are way, way, way better than the Mariners offense. They got Guthrie on the mound who is a stud when he is in-form and right now he sure is. The bookies still don't give him or the O's enough credit but that's fine with me. David Pauley is pitching for Seattle, he has a nice little year but he is worse than his numbers indicate, his ERA should start to go up soon. In his last 2 games he handled 2 pathetic teams: the Royals and the Indians. Best reliever for Seattle, Brandon League is not avaliable tonight.

Oretty unbelievable what happened in the Baltimore-Seattle game. I would say 90% of the close calls went against the Orioles. For example fuckin no-name Tuiasosopo hit a 3-run home run then made one of the best defensive plays of the year in the bottom of 8th, that would have tied the game at 6. Then at the bottom of the 9th liner hit the pitcher, 10 cm to either side and it's 6-6...

Fucking unbelievable. First Benoit (under 2 ERA) blew the lead then Rays lost it on a Zobrist error. And to cap ot off the ref stole a single from Upton in the bottom of 9th... Looks like i'm back to my "somehow lose all the close baseball games" form.

Re: Mlb 2010

Astros first 5 innings +0,5 @1.794

Ricky Nolasco is out with a possible season-ending injury, Andy Miller will fill in for Florida. The guy was horrible even in double A, he made 18 starts and had a 6.01 ERA with a 1.80 WHIP. He had no control whatsoever, walking 61 guys in 85.1 innings. Astros will have Nelson Figueroa who has a solid season going.

Re: Mlb 2010

Padres ml @1.80

I don't really understand this odds. Yes the Padres has a quite big lead in the NL West but if they keep losing against mediocre teams like Milwaukee they could get in trouble. They lost the first 2 games, now they will have Jon Garland to go against Manny Parra. Great difference in the season or recent forms.

Season:
Garland 3.25 ERA, 1.30 WHIP
Parra 5.36 ERA, 1.68 WHIP

Last 3 games:
Garland 0.90 ERA, 1.05 WHIP
Parra 5.06 ERA, 1.69 WHIP

To be honest, Parra is one of the worst starting pitchers in the whole league. Torrealba and Jerry Hairston are unavaliable for San Diego and Hart is on the bench for Milwaukee. The bullpens are like heaven and hell. Padres with a great bullpen, Brewers with a shit one. Stauffer is not avaliable for SD and McClendon out for MIL, also Axford and Braddock pitched more than an inning in the last 2 days.

All in all, Padres offense is bad but not this bad. At least i hope so...

The White Sox loss was pretty unbelievable. They outhit Kansas 10-7, but that's not story. The winning run scored after the biggest blown ball/strike call in the history of baseball. Gregor Blanco walked after one of the "balls" was right in the middle of the strike zone. I'm not kidding, it really was. Kansas commentators laughed for about a minute after that. Then stolen base, stolen base, basehit... 2 bigger bets won but is really should have been a sweep.
