Re: MLB sat

I don't like looking at the lines before I cap games but I was a bit suprised to see Minnesota @ -390 and pretty dissapointed with Yankees -270. My big lean was on the twins but perhaps the value is now with the Nats @ +330.. it's not like they can't win. I'll be watching the yankees game early on so gotta have some fun there.. no big bets since the odds blow and my teams are huge public favorites. Love the A's.. ill be back

Re: MLB sat

I really don't like the games on the board for today but I will take one game at least.

Florida -126 vs Tampa Bay
This is a very risky bet as Shields goes for the Devil Rays, he has a 5-0 record with a 3.08 era. That being said, Willis pitches for the Marlins and he has been superb for them when pitching against the Devil Rays sporting a 2-1 record and a 1.80 era. The Marlins are hot right now, winners of three in a row and five of their last seven. Tampa is a mediocre team and they don't usually score a lot of runs. Shields is 0-1 against the Marlins career wise with a 6.00 era, hopefully that counts for something here.

I thought the same until I found out that the Nats pitcher, Speigner, has given up 23 runs in his last four starts and has yet to make it past the 4th inning.... Against Santana in Minn would have to qualify as the upset of the year.

And "Lavelle" Speigner is pitching a one hitter after four and Santana is getting hit up. In the words of Roberto Duran, "no mas"... for MLB. Even if the Twins come back it has finally sunk in here....

I knew it was risky and I payed for it dearly. Oh well, that's the way baseball is sometimes. Taking one more game tonight.

San Diego/ Seattle over 8.5
I won't go into too much detail but I do believe this number is low. Both teams are scoring a lot of runs and with Weaver and Wells going that should continue.

Good luck to all.

Twins lose

Re: MLB sat

Choke of the week goes to the Padres, leading 5-1 going into the 7th and found a way to lose 6-5.
