NBL Round 20

Enormous wednesday night game between Melbourne and Perth .. Interested to read opinions on this one .. Can make strong cases for both teams .. My initial lean is Perth with the points (4.5) but this match will be emotion charged so anything's possible ..

In the late game Singapore is nailed on to win straight up imo but covering 6 may be a little dicey .. Although I think it seems pretty clear that the wheels have fallen off Adelaide's campaign .. the club is wracked with rumous and uncertainty regarding Phil Smyth's future ..

Re: NBL Round 20

game between tigers and cats will be very tight (nervous). i already locked in the under 199.5 (as i think it will drop) ..so under the same scenario , i might consider perth +4.5

second game falls in a no bet category on both line / under-over

Re: NBL Round 20

The under may be a solid angle on this one .. 201.5 is probably JUST high enough .. totals are a bit of a crapshoot imo .. especially once the season is rolling .. there's great players on both teams tonight who're capable of filling it up and in what should be a physical front court duel I can see either or both teams finding themselves in the 'bonus' for a decent portion of each quarter .. trying to predict what type of game this will be in terms of tempo and points scored is too tough ..

At this point my lean is: Melbourne + Singapore (ML double) at a tick over $2 .. Home court advantage will weigh in the Tigers favour in what should be a playoff game come early .. They need this win that little bit more than Perth .. However the Wildcats are rolling .. they're playing tough at both ends .. tough to call this..

Tigers are bloody terrible at covering as favourites.

Geez that's a bit rough. They are 13-14 ATS as favourites this season. Not great, but not terrible.

Re: NBL Round 20

Good game tonight, Tigers withstood the barrage of Cats' 3's and Anstey comes up big down the stretch

Big win for the Tigers

Re: NBL Round 20

And DT is quite possibly the most underrated player in the league

Always enjoyable to see the Cats lose

Re: NBL Round 20

I like Slingers to cover -7 vs 36ers, but best pick I still think is Singapore ML. UNDER/OVER is tough call, better to skip. I was thinking of putting on money on this one, but instead will skip. Already won both bets with Wildcats game(under 198 and Wildcats +5,5). Last one was too close, but still won.

Congrats on your wins champ,at first thought the Slingers -7 looks good but for some strange reason it looks too easy, who know what's gonna happen in this game, either Slingers come out n play and win by 20+ or somehow the 36ERS make a game out of it It is a tough game to call cos you dont know how Adelaide are gonna respond after one of their worst loss of the season!!!
