NBA Sunday

Two games on the schedule for today.

Dallas -4.5 at Toronto
Denver at Portland PICK

I'll buy 1.5 and take the Mavs -3 (1 unit)

I like Dallas as well but had to buy it down to -2.5 and really like Denver to take care of Portland on the ML at +100. My rationale is Portland is really overrated and Denver is desperate for a W, look for A.I to have a big day!

Re: NBA Sunday

What also caught my eye yesterday was how low the total was in the Dallas/Toronto game, 193.5, so I was all over it. How could this game be set under 200 points for the total? I am rather surprised. Dirk is playing and even without him the Mavs can score tons of points.

I am on the overs, got over 192.5 with Stan James, looks ok so far.

I know it looks real bad right now but considering how badly Dallas played to only be down by 11 isn't bad. I think Dallas can come back in the second half, once thing I have learned about the Mavericks is they never give up. Took the Mavs -5.5 2nd half seems like a real bargain.

What a joke, missed the over by a point!! Very sloppy shooting by the Raptors. Cost me a hundred! Thank goodness Dallas won me on the second half spread.

They gradually whittled down the Raptor lead then won on a last second shot. I thought they would win by around 7 to 11 and they would have had they not showed up totally flat.

I must say Denver looks like complete crap right now!! I am horrified by the terrible defence or lack thereof so far exhibited by the Nuggets. Iverson needs to step it up.
