But two of Australia's best players, Kristi Harrower (ankle) and Penny Taylor (groin), sustained worrying injuries in Thursday's come-from-behind win.
Afterwards, Australian coach Jan Stirling was concerned. "[Kristi's] got her foot in an ice bucket at the moment," she said. "The medical people will make an assessment. I really don't know at this point in time, it's too early to tell.
"Obviously we hope she's OK and we hope Penny's OK."
Harrower collapsed in agony on the last play against Brazil and appears a major doubt for Saturday's final (3am Sunday, Sydney time), while Taylor further aggravated her existing groin problem, taking some gloss off one of the great wins in Australian basketball history.
As good as LJ is, if both Haorrower and Taylor don't play or not fully fit I can't see LJ winning it by herself.
