NBA Friday - March 31

Memphis Grizzlies (-3) @ New Orleans Hornets
The Hornets are 2-12 ATS in their last 14, and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 at home. They have had quite a few games where they just flat out disappear for a quarter. They are struggling mightily, though they are coming off a win against the hapless Warriors. Three of their key players are questionable, David West, PJ Brown, and Speedy Claxton. The Grizzlies are coming off two losses, but one was against the hottest team in the league at home (Nets). Prior to that, they had won 7 games in a row. I expect them to get back on the winning track and cover the points.

Philadelphia 76ers (-5) @ New York Knicks
I'm going to keep betting against the Knicks until they prove me otherwise. They are 1-5 ATS in their last 6, and their only cover was when they came back from 19 down heading into the 4th to lose by 4 (spread was 4.5). The Knicks are an absolute mess and the players seem like they don't even care anymore. They are coming off being trounced at home by the Celtics, and now they face another team desparate for a win to help their playoff chances. AI is going to take control of this game and lead the 76ers to a comfortable victory.

I had a look at this bet as well for the reason you highlighted - Knicks have given up this season. If you watch their game against the celts the other night, you can see on the defensive end they were eimply not interested, countless times the cletic players just drove it into the lane and had an easy bucket

For that reason I reckon the overs in this one is a cracking bet, especially given the fact that 76ers don't play any defense either. Should be a track meet.

Mavs have Howard back in the starting lineup against the magic, yet the line is still at -/+ 5

To me, it seems like one of those "too good to be true" trap lines. Howard is a great player, but it isn't clear how much of an impact he will have his first game back. The Mavs have lost their last two to start the road trip, and are just 2-4 in their last 6 games. Orlando on the other hand are playing loose and have won six in a row at home. This is a young team hungry to finish the season strong and I believe they are a playoff caliber team next year. I'm staying away from this game for now.

Re: NBA Friday - March 31

The Magic have been playing very well lately ..since the trade Jameer Nelson is becoming the New General on the court..and with Dooling and Arroyo coming from the bench these 3 will give a lot of problems to a lot of backcourts in the NBA..Howard is unstoppable around the basket and will become a force once he practiced more on his shot..I see a possible upset here and wouldn t bet on the Mavs

Magic are a rising team but lets not forgot who they recently beat. Chicago, Atl, Phil, NY

At the same time they lost to Minn, Charl, and Atl

They are barely playing over .500 against SHIT Teams. And lets not forget how the West has dominated the East this year.

All three of those losses were on the road. This team is like night and day when it comes to home/away. They've won 6 in a row at home, I could care less who they lost to on the road.
