***PLAY OF THE NIGHT***
Miami Heat -5 (25 Units)
The books must have lost their minds when they made this line and although it looks like a pure trap, it most certainly looks more like a bad line. The books have done nothing so far to make any kind of adjustments on the line and it seems like most of the public is backing Miami. Well so am I. In a rare night off from CBB, I though the line would come out at least 3-4 points higher than this and I was going to lean towards taking the big line. When I saw only five points for the Heat, I was sold. Miami is coming off a somewhat mediocre win over the Raptors at home and they have since had a few days off to gather their thoughts and prepare themselves for this one game road trip to Boston. I like the small side-stories in this game. Antoine Walker is coming back to Boston...again, and I expect him to have a good game as usual against his old mates. The last time Miami was here was last season when they lost 101-99 after coming out of the gates and blowing the first quarter big time. In that game, Paul Pierce had 22 points, Al Jefferson had 19 points and Antoine Walker had 13 points and 15 rebounds. Well Pierce has an injured elbow but will play, Jefferson has an ankle problem and is most likely sitting this one out and as you all know, Walker is now wearing the Red and Black. Not to forget about Kendrick Perkins who had 13 rebounds himself for Boston in their 16 point road loss to Miami back in February. The Celtics are coming off an impressive road win over the Lakers and are returning to Boston for the first time since February 15. The road trip was very successful but tonight will be the classic letdown situation for these guys and Miami is going to take it to them at every chance they get. This one might get seriously ugly in a hurry. I don't usually like heavily backed favorites like the Heat but how can you pass up on this chance to bring in the big cash? Hot Hot Hot!
