Re: Eurobasketball Championships

Turkey to cover -2.5 against Lithuania. Turkey are coming with a big squad and with Torkuglu and Okur from the NBA. they got also turkcan and Kutlay...

Lithuania almost without all of their squad, non of their stars came from the championship, big value on Turkey.

S&M to cover -5.5 against Spain. Serbia got a dream team and they are the hosters...spain without gasol, can't see them facing the massive serbian centers

Good Luck !!

Nim, your picks are looking great , especially Turkey as Lithuania IS MISSING 4 key players due to injuries.

Re: Eurobasketball Championships

From another site:

Just to let you know, in Lithuania odds are droping dramaticly - now we have only 1.65 on Turkey while 2 days ago we had the same 2.10. Most of Lithuanians do not believe in their team, that is very rare, but unfortunately true. It is going to be 2nd squad of Lithuanian NT. Players that do not play: Ilgauskas, Jasikevicius, Stombergas, Zukauskas, Songaila, Kaukenas, Macijauskas, Slanina, Salenga. 9 !! players that will go straight into championship roster. The team lost Macijauskas and Salenga (2 days ago) ir preparation period and now we have names on the team that even not all Lithuanians know. Gustas, Silinskis, Serapinas, Lukauskis will sit on the bench during all games and that leaves Lithuanians with 7-8 players. Only Siskauskas, Jasaitis and brothers Lavrinovic are playing the game that is more or less at national team class. Although coaches say that everything is alright, I believe that team is a little bit demoralized after painful losses of two attacking guards and can not be treated as favourites agains the best Turkish team of all times. Okur, Turkoglu, Turkcan, Kutluay. Gonlum, Peker, Tunceri will be way too strong for Lithuanians. I strongly suggest for all who has a possibility to grab Turkey win with odds higher than 1.60.

Re: Eurobasketball Championships

Slovenia + Turkey + Serbia-Montenegro

Slovenia is a well balanced team and although Beno Udrih is out with an injury there is still the talented Lakovic and Becirovic to cover that PG Loss
inside with Nesterovic and on the perimeter with nachbar they should win this game against Bosnia with ease

Turkey over Lithuania..i would not touch this if Sarunas would be playin..but now with him Macjauskas and Stombergas out .their whole backcourt is basically out
not to forget that Zukauskas and Songalia are out as well so the presence under the basket is weakened now too very good value here with Turkey 1.80

Serbia has one goal : GOLD MEDAL
again i would not touch this is Gasol would be playin..but now i think Serbia will prevail with their balanced and experienced squad not to forget their home crowd
I still respect Spain though they are still a respectable good team even without Pau, edge due the home crowd

It's a 50\50 match IMO. Latvia got some good players and they can play good without kambela...they are better team.
But Israel qualified from the last chance tournament , couple of days ago, the players got the momentoum and they will give a good fight. With players like Burstein, Green, Tapiro, Hagag, Kuzikaro we can do well.

bg, turkey should win this one on paper, i got 300 $ @ 2.3 last week
so its a "value"

1.75 ML is still nice, but anything lower is not worth!! its the first game and you never know

the only scary thing is the head to head between the two teams
13-1 in favour of lithuania.

but again if turkey starts good it should be a walk in the park.
