2007/2008 NBL Season

I'm surprised noone has started a topic here yet.

We're just 3 weeks away. For me last year, this sport was very profitable - particularly with the overs. And they look the bet again. I can't wait for this season to start. On first thoughts, the first match between the Bullets and the Blaze will be an over.

Who do you think will win the championship this season? I'm thinking the Bullets may go back to back.

Yep should be an awesome season, even better then last yr due to the comp hopefully being abit closer this time and not being a 2 team comp Heals picked up a couple of inclusion, havent seen much of the teams will do soon!!Tigers got another big man aswell, how much tall timber do these guys want Very unlikely the Bullets will go b2b,havent seen their roster to finalise their situation but still no doubt will be up there!!

I take it Carlos Powell mustn't be suiting up this yr for the Breakers?

Re: 2007/2008 NBL Season

Kirk Penney tore his calf at training likely out 4 weeks so will miss the opener.

Those names dont look to enticing, maybe there will be 1 or 2 unknown names that will shine through the season, big big loss with no Powell!!

Re: 2007/2008 NBL Season

I'm trying a new system with over/under. I'm just finishing off some research now. It will basically be a case of who is playing who.

Basically, it's something like I'll be pooling together teams.

For example.

Gold Coast
Brisbane
Townsville
Dragons
Perth

If any of those teams play against each other, it's an over.

Singapore
New Zealand
Adelaide

If any of those teams play each other, it will be an under.

Cairns/Sydney/Wollongong/Razorbacks/Tigers - undecided on.

A lot of cobwebs to work out, but it will be something along those lines. It will take into account their roster and what they did last year regarding scoring.

Re: 2007/2008 NBL Season

Cairns will be very hard to stop this season. Cattalini, Mee, Boodnikoff, Grabau as well as signing Black, Abney and Tucker.

My signature sucked so I made this one instead.
