Re: Scalinata di Spagna Saturday

I posted this elsewhere in the forum but just to get a gauge of how lucrative the spanish tyro has been during his clay court streak, if you had bet USD$50 on Nadal against Gael Monfils in Rd 1 in Monte Carlo 2005, and continually rolled over the winnings (i.e.went "all in" ) on Nadal over the course of his clay court streak, after his win today against Gonzo your account balance would read:

USD $206,041.51

And the other purpose of my last post was to tell you I will be placing a $206k bet on Nadal against Monfils today

If only we knew back then...

The matches tomorrow are uninteresting, might as well just stick Fed and Nadal through to the finals now and not waste time.

Almagro could be one to consider doing this into the future...

I think I might have a crack at it, on all matches barring against Federer and Nadal...

Re: Scalinata di Spagna Saturday

Rafa not to win 2:0 at 4.77

Rafa to win 2:1 at 6.5

and finally a long shot Gael to stop his streak @ 20

all value bets as i don't see myself betting to get 4% return on straight rafa's win

Nadal in straights sets at 1.25 seems a bank job to me!

Re: Scalinata di Spagna Saturday

I had a $700 wager on Nalbandian to win $3000 but I didn't click confirm, just told myself value is great but in the end it probably wont happen no matter how close the match is.. Fed always pulls this shit outta his ass!

No guts, no glory!

2 days in a row it was a close as it can get, but Roger still managed to come out victorious, i was toying with the idea of clicking confirm as well (just wanted to see how much it would have been, glad i didn't take a chance)
