Wacky Wednesday!

...certainly the way these results are going so far. Pity Oscar Hernandez isn't playing this week...he might have won a trophy

Really excited about the double:

Karlovic x GGL @ 1.96

Not hit it yet but it seems a bargain. Karlovic should put away the fast - fading Schuettler and GGL is several classes above Widom at any rate. Will do more research but this looks like a tasty play for today - 70% confident.

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

Going with a parlay n Pretty Boy as an upset Special for the day!!!!

30 units on Karlovic 1.36/Youzhny 1.32/Lubo 1.23 = 2.20!!Feel all 3 players should win IMO!!!

20 units on Pretty Boy Lopez 2.15 over Robin Toad Soderling- Robin's been out of action for a couple of months, rust will show n Pretty will take full advantage!!If it goes to 3 sets it should be more of an advantage to the Spainard n yes the Swede doesnt mind Indoors!!!!!

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

Gimeno-Traver over Cuadrado @ 1.57
Montanes over Ventura @ 1.85
Gasquet over Henman @ 1.67

And there's also Toad over Pretty Boy, posted in today's thread.

May also add some Delray plays tomorrow.

Gotta make up for the shitty week I'm having so far.

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

Alrite time to make some money again.

I grabbed a safe parlay.. so safe, it's about as sure as moodie over widom

Karlovic X Ljubicic @1.683 .. Grabbit it at semi-high stakes.

Can't see how either one would lose unless they roll over on their ankle.

No guts, no glory!

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

2006 ATP Tennis Record: 16-4 (+$4117)

*All my plays are -199 (1.52) or better. No big favs.

I finally got my first win on the clay courts yesterday and it felt good. It also felt really good to go 3-1 having pick two underdogs to win and they did. Anyways, now it's on to more winning way on Wednesday. Good luck to all who decided to follow.

--------------------------------------------

Zagreb (Round 2): Wednesday, February 1, 2006

Tim Henman +106 over Richard Gasquet ($300 to win $318)

What I really like to kick things off is that the oddsmaker and bookies have given up on old Timmy and this is probably the best spot to bet on him. Henman has looked just awful but losses to Haas and Tursunov aren't really that bad when you at the big picture of things. Both players have been good on this surface and both players are coming easy 1 Round wins. However, Henman mentioned yesterday that the courts are very fast and that he is loving it. He says that he got his full confidence back and that he is ready for anything Gasquet throws at him. Henman already has a win over Gasquet this year and if he can execute the same gameplan as he did last week, he should win this match. In their first encounter, Gasquet was frustrated and thrown off rythm by Henman. Gasquet kicked off the year losing his first three matches and only he knows if he is back to full health. Both players have been good on indoor hard surfaces over the last three years so this one is going to be based on instinct. Assuming this goes to three sets, Gasquet is 16-18 lifetime in 3 set matches while Henman is 33-22 in the last three years. This is going to be a classic that might head to tie-breaks but Tim's attitude is great this time around and it seems like Gasquet is vulnerable right now.

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

My bet is Ljubo over Murray. I have seen how Murray played recently, and it wasn't pretty. Ljubo will breeze through. ching ching ching~ ^^

Re: Wacky Wednesday!

Lopez @ 2.05

Lopez has been good on Hard Court so far this season, only having the bad luck of running into Ljubicic & Baghdatis. Should account for Soderling back from injury with only having played a Challenger.

Lopez has proved he can play on the Hard Court.
