Super Sunday 4th round

Current odds:

MARCOS BAGHDATIS 5.630 | 1.160 ANDY RODDICK
IVAN LJUBICIC 1.526 | 2.650 THOMAS JOHANSSON
TOMMY ROBREDO 3.000 | 1.417 DAVID NALBANDIAN
FABRICE SANTORO 2.950 | 1.426 FERRER

LINDSAY DAVENPORT 1.417 | 3.000 SVETLANA KUZNETSOVA
VIRGINIA RUANO PASCUAL 11.250 | 1.065 JUSTINE HENIN HARDENNE
MARIA SHARAPOVA 1.260 | 4.180 DANIELA HANTUCHOVA
ELENA VESNINA 6.000 | 1.143 NADEJDA PETROVA

I'm liking ferrer as a solid wager... Maybe Tojo with some risk too.

Anyone think baghdat could upset roddick?

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

Is that Davenport at $1.41 or at $1.14.

If that is Davenport at around $1.40 I'll be putting that in a parlay quickly.

1.41! her last match was 3 sets tho.. I'm afraid of her inconsistency.. lost to sharapova 0-6, 0-6 last year?

Edit: mixed that up.. sharapova lost to davenport 0-6, 0-6

Must be 1.40 bro if it was 1.14 then Kutznetsova would be around 6.00

Last year is not this year.

Davenport will win tomorrow and at those odds it's worth a parlay to juice up a parlay price.

Back later with plays.

Also Kuznetsova's game suits Lindsay more aswell, she's not as mobile n has a power game,Davenport's favourite kind of opponents Lindsay lost a set to someone who ran around like a rabbit n more then fustrate her with soft groundies,Davenport perfers it comin off the bat quick, you could say like Rusty but she wont say fix the courts up

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

I'll be looking at all 4 women's favourites plus Roddick in a parlay. Brings it over $2

Will think on it as Daniela could upset Sharapova.

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

Bet of the day = Ferrer at 1.44 (I think you can even get higher)

As much as love Santoro, he'll be knackered after the Gaudio marathon. It's gonna be scorching, and you don't get many cheap points against Ferrer, who should be pretty fresh.

My parlay is Ferrer (1.44) x Nalbandian (1.40) x Davenport (1.33)

I think Sharapova will win, the only reason Daniela beat Serena was due to the shocking performance of Serena, Daniela didn't even need to play well.

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

Value's with Fabrice and Robredo. Both stand virtually as good a chance of winning as their opponents. Tommy, Ferrer and Nalbandian are all suckers. Santoro does what he's expected to do. In a battle between two chokers like Nalbandian and Robredo, I'd much rather go for the value.

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

How I see today's winners:

Ferrer - Santoro was knackered after playing Gaudio - he really struggled with the heat whereas Ferrer got on with the task quickly and played a hughly impressive match. Add to that the fact Fab has played doubles as well - he shouldn't have much juice left. Also, he has never made QF and is playing his best opponent so far - should all be too much.

Bandy - The Spaniard won largely due to a poor performance by Blake, and an injury trouble for the American. He may be serving well, but Bandy will return well as well. Bandy seems to be the tennis Terminator - he keeps coming back! Bandy has won their last meetings...albeit 4 years ago. He performs better in the big events, in stark contrast to Robredo. Time for the choking Spaniard to pack his bags!

A - Rod - not much to say about this match. I think A-Rod will simply overpower Baggy. Baggy may be talented, but talent often goes out of the window when facing the biggest serve in the world. I also think Baggy might be the first to wilt in the heat.

Tojo - Ljubo won their last meetings, significantly, last year - and he seems just as good this year. I think Tojo might be fresher going into this, and Ljubo apparently has a blister problem on his feet, which could make life painful for him in the very hot conditions. This match could go down to the wire if it is outside, and I'd probably favour Tojo. But if it is held inside, and I think it might be, the nod would have to go to the Croat. Oh, and this is the furthest Ljubo has got in a Slam...time to depart!! I might chuck a few coins on the Swede.

Re: Super Sunday 4th round

I just picked up this parley.. so safe and secure:

Davenport x Sharapova @ 1.74

Not placing big wages on this.. I'm scared as hell of WTA bets but if things go as planed should both be easy straight set wins! Sharapova is on another class compared to Hantu..

More plays later today.

Did you mean to say Nalby or Rob?

Sorry mate - a malfunction of my brain!

But I do consider that match to be a little bit dodgy...
