If your talking about sportsbook.com it won't be good for tennis. They don't really offer much with the exception of Tennis majors. Otherwise they are ok. There are much better books out there like Pinnacle and 5Dimes.

If a guy bet's 2 units it's either two things pending on the dollar amount:

Line let's say is -130

He put up $260 to win $200 or $2600 to win $2000 or $26 to win $20. You catch my drift.

Some people also bet like this on a 2 unit bet they might just put up $200 to win around $180 or something around that.

I hope that helps.

Re: Whats a unit

Thx for input.

I registered at pinnicle and 5dimes to see how it is.. both sites seem pretty remedial in terms of layout and so forth..

Just curious is 5dimes based in the U.S? I seem to have problems making deposits in both sites.. credit card denied and their 3rd party deposit methods aren't quite working..

Re: Whats a unit

One more question ...

If the point line is -7 1/2 on the favorite, does that mean he has to win at least 8 games more then the dog?

So a score of 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 means the bet on fav point line wins, while 6-3, 6-4, 7-5 means a lost if beatin on fav?

Pinnacle and 5Dimes are as good as a book as you'll find. There are no online sportsbooks based in the US..it's illegal here with the exception of Vegas. As for credit card being denied and other options take it up with the sportsbooks and they'll be more then happy to help you get your deposit through.

If it's -7.5 games the favorite must win by at least 8 games for the wager to be won.

Re: Whats a unit

On 5dimes theres this subsection called "Internet only - reduced juice".. what exactly does this mean? It shows JHH odds over Sharapova are 1.59 on regular section and 1.65 on reduced juice? Same with nalby vs bagman.
