Davis Cup Mid of July

Pick from Russia:

France to beat Russia @ odds above 1.5

Why?

We don't have second number of team. Andreev is not so good and Davydenko, who could get victory over France is injured so hard that even won't play doubles (Andreev/Davy is a very good pair, and the fact that our coach didn't allow Davydenko to play doubles speaks for itself). Kolya is suffering from wrist injury and in interview he sais "i will try to play till the end of the match", nothing like "i'm going to win blablabla..."

Gasquet is young and kicking, he will win both matches, Mathieu will probably loose both and in doubles we don't have any chance... too bad for country, very good for gamblers

Re: Davis Cup Mid of July

what's going on lads? I'm away and the lack of activity in here (well sports other than tennis) has been shameful, well except for pimpy's 5 star soccer selctions

My two cents..

I dont have access to any betting sites unfortunately, but have a small punt on Wayno to beat Nalbandian tomorrow.

Re: Davis Cup Mid of July

France to beat Russia @1.83

1) Match 1 : Gasquet to beat Andreev
2) Match 2 : Davydenko to beat Mathieu (if he is fully revovered)
3) Match 3 : French doubles to top Russian doubles
4) Match 4 : Andreev to slug it out with Mathieu (50/50 match up)
5) Match 5 : Gasquet to beat Davydenko/Youzhny

......very simple equation here......Gasquet to get two points and doubles French pair to take the other point.

Re: Davis Cup Mid of July

Hrbaty and Beck are awesome davis cup players, especially Hrbaty @ home and indoors
gasquet on clay looks good against an inconsistent TWAT Andreev
Ivan should regain his form indoors too

its about time that the men are playing again

Re: Davis Cup Mid of July

Anybody know where we can follow live scores? Particularly to Aus vs Arg.

Can't see a link on the official Davis Cup site.

Please advise
