This match will be decided by a few points here and there, probably in 2 or 3 TBs so with these odds definitely worth a shot. If Hewitt and ToJo could not break Karlovic, no way Roddick is going to given returning is one of the weaker aspects of his game.
bit of a no brainer, roddick wont break him, so you are safe
yes totally agree with you here....but would like to add that it is also very unlikely that Karlovic will break Roddick.......so it goes down to who has the better tie-break records............which is like flipping coin.....both these guys have big services so one mini-break could do the trick.........but the thing i do not like about Karlovic his game is 80% about his services so if this goes to a third set.....his service may just lose steam.......so i am going for Karlovic to win firstname.lastname@example.org
Honestly, Ivo +3,5 (when it was available...I don't see it on the market anymore...) seems a great bet, but nobody mentions the "Ivo's final nerves" factor. This guy has NEVER won an ATP singles title, and he just lost against Bracciali in a TB showdown. Roddick has not only great confidence but also the vast experience in finals. Furthermore, I found him to exploit weaknesses in Stepaneks serve in the third set. How can we be so sure that Ivo's serve will keep on bombing away...? I see it as an x factor that he might shoot fewer aces, that is 1st serve pct may go down, and that his 2nd serves may be less sharp...because it's a final.
