Saturday 2 April - Miami

The big question...

Sharapova or Kim?!

I'm on Sharapova.

Me too bro. Both are playing really well but I think I give the slight edge to Sharapova. Probably 53-47. Should be really close, I think the bookies have got it wrong to make Kim the quite firm favourite. If I lose my money I'll console myself with the fact Kim is a 100 times nicer girl than Maria

And you can conself yourself with the fact that you made a bomb today with Nadal! I was looking out for your handicap bet...and saw that it came off!

I'm halfway there with my double. Nadal did the 2-0 no problems. C'MON SHARAPOVA! Really looking forward to the match now.

That was bloody lucky, Rafa breaking in the final game. But even if it had been 6-4 6-4 I'd have done ok, coz I covered the tie on the handicap and I had Nadal to win 2-0 on both my other bets. The kid is on fire . I'm gonna struggle to cheer for Sharapova, I really don't like her and I like Kim....but hey, money makes the world go round

Re: Saturday 2 April - Miami

The question is:

Will Sharapova play as she did against Venus? If yes, then Sharapova should win in 2 straight. If her serve is on the same fine level as it was against Venus, it will hurt Kimmy big time. Kimmy is one of the best returners/defensive players though, but Sharapova got the killer instinct.

If she's not on form she can always try feigning injury to knock her opponent out of their rhythym. Worked against the other Belgian

I'm undecided on who to bet on, but I hope Kim wipes the Hollywood lipstick off Ameripova.

Re: Saturday 2 April - Miami

Last time they played head to head was back in 2003....

DUDE! Sharapova was 15 back then....now, she's a lot louder and physically, she's stronger!!!! grrrrrrrr.....

Look at who Kimmie has beaten so far to get to the final here:

1 Sandra Kloesel W 6-0,6-1
2 Amy Frazier W 6-2, 6-3
3 Nathalie Dechy W 6-0,6-2
4 Anastasia Myskina W 6-3,6-4
QF Elena Dementieva W 6-2,6-1
SF Amelie Mauresmo W 6-1, 6-0

Pretty easy draw, i might add....

Let's take a look at Sharapova's opponents to get to the final:

2 Eleni Daniilidou W 6-0,6-4
3 Marissa Irvin W 6-2,6-0
4 Shinobu Asagoe W 6-1,6-2
QF Justine Henin-Hardenne W 6-1,6-7(6-8),6-2
SF Venus Williams W 6-4, 6-3

Beating Justine Henin and Venus is by far more impressive than opponents Kimmie has beaten....After she got bageled by Davenport last week, she's been more focused on the court....

anywayz, my money's on Sharapova....

Good luck kids....

P.S. Nadal over Rogi....

Re: Saturday 2 April - Miami

I'd like to go for Kim, but the odds are just too low, $1.65 is not worth it.
