Stan le Man Saturday

Actually a misleading title, as I'd normally take Wawrinka but I can't trust him with my money these days, so:

Wawrinka over 22.5 games @ 1.90

At least I can trust him to fight on.

Almagro @1.66
Almagro -1.5 games @1.80. He's too solid for Stan on this surface

Re: Stan le Man Saturday

I'm not saying he doesn't like playing on clay but Almagro is the better player on clay. It may be Stan's favourite surface but definetly is Almagro's fav too and in my oppinion he's more solid and should take the win

I think Almagro is slightly the "better" player on all surfaces at the moment and by better I mean one who is able to get the most out of what he can do in every game, like Ferrer has managed to do consistently. His record on clay is "fearsome" but lest we forget, Stan's biggest success in his career has also come on clay. I always rate Stan a little better on clay than he's on other surfaces but he's an all-rounder, whereas Nico can be considered a clay-court specialist.

Re: Stan le Man Saturday

I can tolerate "Stan le Man", but don't go about calling him "Stan the Man"!

That epitaph is taken!

yeah and that's why I took the over though my initial reaction was to take Stan. Anyhow, we see which one wins - if any at all

fair play to Wawrinka, loss
Almagro was awful today, hitting errors out of nowhere.

Will try again

Istomin -2.5 @ 1.90
