I fancy Joker big time here but just dont want to give all my green back from Friday. At the same time I want to have a bet on the match to make it more entertaining for me so a small play on Joker 3-1 for entertainment purposes only.
Just looking at Betfair here and Joker at 1.56 is a bit of a joke alright, I mean I do think he will win and all but there is no value in that price, I would be tempted at 1.9, perhaps if he hits 1.9 in running I will have a few quid on, hopefully Murray breaks early and then I might throw a few quid on the Joker.
big joker @1.50 lose this and i can see myself eating bread and noodles for months and probably the last straw 4 my reltationship she better remember this if i win really hoped 4 better odds but cant see joker losing
they underestimated Azarenka ( overestimated Li? ) and now they're doing it again with Murray. There's no value with this 1.50. Djokovic has the upper hand due to his mental edge over Murray but this is nowhere near a 1.50.
fuck i wish i could go to the bank and get a home loan and plonk it all on joker murray isnt going to win this but if u murray backers disagree back the shit out of murray he is @2.65 at tab
Dont think novak should be this short either. Last years aus open encounter between the two was tight with only slight edges giving the match to novak in the end. Fast forward to now and Murray is a different proposition with a slam under his belt hence his mental state should be improved significantly. Add to that Murray has also improved physically since then. How much more has novak improved from then to warrant him being this short a favourite? Im not so sure. This is going to be a tough encounter between them again with a few points that could tilt in eithers favour. Novak should be favourite agreed, but not by much. He looked (perhaps flatteringly so) devastating against Ferrer, but again this is a whole new different beast. I have money riding on Murray from last week at $4.50. I am going to go the over 41.5 games as can definitely see this going the distance. 4 sets at least and this overs line should get up. Regardless, good luck to all and expecting a great match. Cheers
Firstly, I never said I'm a Murray backer. Secondly, I agree Djokovic is more likely to win – I disagree he's more likely to win than the odds suggest though. In fact, I find Murray's odds slightly attractive, which is obviously more than I can say about Djokovic's...
2 pages for 1 match, what a waste of time... you guys when see grand slam it's like someone giving gift for you and worst possible betting is grand slam betting ,,,,
I disagree, at least in a match like this, both players genuinely want to win as opposed to some challenger event where two Mickey Mouse wannabe players from Russia act the prick and fix matches.
Its straightforward enough. I think Joker will win but I was not confident enough to back at 1.5, added to that I was certainly not going to go against him by laying him. If the price got better (which it did) then I put a few quid on him. I also dont want to sit here trying to trade, I like to watch my match with my bet placed and I will usually only lay off if it goes down to maybe 1.05.
As it stands I have a bet on Joker to win 3-1 and another bet on him outright at 2.04, neither of them are anyway near as heavy as I was on Murray on Friday so I wont be too upset if it goes down, Friday would have hurt though.
Good job Nole backers. I don't think Murray has any issues any more with gs finals but Nole was a different beast and more motivated. Murray could not sustain the same level throughout and he seemed more bothered and grumpy than his opponent. Their subsequent encounters in slams are gonna are gonna be interesting from now on though, as both are capable of winning at any given day.
Very profitable weekend, time to spend some of the money now, might buy the missus a little car seen as she just passed her driving test. Taking a break from Tennis gambling till the next GS, perhaps Nadal will be back in full swing then.
