Re: See ya Pova Thursday

I went into Paddy Power today to collect just over 2k from a bet I had on Aston Villa last night (lucky as was an 89min winner). The stupid bitch behind the counter tells me that they dont have the money behind the counter and can I come back later or take a cheque. I am totally unimpressed and make a point of explaining that I put the bet on in good faith and should be paid out correctly and that as they took the bet from me, they should ensure they have enough to pay me out. I am also pissed off that such a major bookmaker cant pay out a poxy couple of grand.
I then tell her not to worry as I want to stick the full amount on Murray for Friday at 8/13, this results in about 3 phonecalls and an email before they decide to take the bet from me and it certainly wasnt service with a smile either. I really cannot be doing with this bullshit anymore, I think I will stick to the exchanges in future.

You still use betting shops? Why not just bet online and have no hassle with withdrawals (it will be in your bank account first thing tomorrow)

I agree. Li has had good results lately and was @ about 2.75 last time they met.

A shame about the @ 5 though...

Li Na @ 4.5 with Ladbrokes
Azarenka 2-1 @ 5 with Pinnacle.

Re: See ya Pova Thursday

I suppose that's why Djokovic odds are so ridiculously short...
