Re: Livescores (October 2012)

I don't care who you are or who you're playing facing 0 break points throughout an entire match is an impressive stat looks like Sijsling could be a poor man's Isner type

Can't believe we overlooked Falla 1.37 is short but Falla indoors against Hajek don't see any chance for the man who looks like a pig

also really liking Lalo PHM has positive H2H including a win on a similar surface earlier this year in 3 but he's been struggling Lalo might want to pick up some points he lost last week in Shanghai

Re: Livescores (October 2012)

Does anyone rate Goffin chances
high? With that poor serve bag
cant be priced so low. And Goffin
proves he is a good indoors
player. Also im curious with the
odds bookies suggest on
malisse. Seems they have no
faith in him due to his recent
results, but if he brings his best
on court, dont think zemlja is a
real threat

Big price jump and whenever theres a big price jump I like to avoid the match completely. Theres a reason theres no price jump when guys in the top 10 play each other, theres no match fixing.

Now one might say why not just try to get on the right side of the fix? Utterly impossible in most cases IMO. Look at the Sijsling-Berrer match today. Berrer went from 2.2 to 1.75 in a 15 minute period before the match started! At 4-3* in the first set Berrer was at 1.5. After that, at 1-1 in the breaker Sijsling went to 1.8. Thinking about conspiracy theorie will drive you crazy but the swing in price in the Baggy match is confusing. Its not huge, but its still confusing.

If we're just purely analyzing the match I would have to say that Baghdahtis is a clear cut favorite. He's had a nice run the past two weeks beating Monaco and Raonic before going down to Nishikori (the eventual champ) and Tsonga in a match where he was up a break in both sets.

Goffin missed the Asian indoor hardcourt swing for whatever reason. I see your drift. Up and coming young guy who's won some big matches in slams this year against a guy who's falling off the map fast. But Baggy is headed in the right direction. Its not like the guy has no talent. He's just not great athletically or physically but to me he's a B version of Nalbandian. An amazing striker of the ball who's limited athletically, isn't too tall in stature and really lacks work ethic off the court.

Lastly I'll say that indoor hardcourts favor the game of the Cypriot whereas they realy don't favor the long winding strokes of Goffin at all. If this match were on clay Goffin would be a favorite and it would probably be about 1.75 Baghdahtis at Wimbledon where he's actually made a SF apperance but on this surface the price is right.

Literally 45 seconds ago glanced at the odds and Malisse looked good to me. Zemlja is a big server? I don't know much about his opponent but this is a good surface for XMan. He's had a bad year and lost to Paire in a match he was favored in about a month ago on a similar surface but I do like him. The odds are a little confusing though again but I have some time before I decide to back him or not.

I'll be honest even though he lost to Kolya on a similar surface recently I like the odds on Bogomolov a little bit.

I like Lalo A LOT even with negative H2H inluding a loss on an indoor HC to PHM earlier this year because he was impressive in Beijing and honestly he did about as well as one of the big 4 will do against Djokovic. Matheiu hasn't been playing much of late.

Rusty looks pretty good against Anderson. His biggest strength is his return of serve but he's just been so damn bad the entire season other than his deep run in Rhode Island and his r16 at AO.

I like Pospisil over the local guy Haider-Mauer but the Austrian made the final here 2 years ago.

Lastly I'll say that Jesse Levine looks somewhat enticing.

I have no opinion on the Stakhovsky match, sorry mate. Haven't seen him play recently and have no idea about his opponent. I have a general rule of thumb, I like to stay away from matches where somewhat known players are playing complete no names. The same thing is happening in the GGL match. Just better to stay away, atleast for me.
