This just seems like such a difficult match to peg. Its tough to tell how good Roger has been. He didn't really play anyone elite in Madrid and that was an altogether different surface. This week in Rome, he once again hasn't played anyone good and struggled a bit vs. Ferrero. He's also played a lot of tennis the last 2 weeks and thats the first time he's played in weeks. How will his body react?
Djokovic has been just average so far this clay court season but he may be in better form and if he's physically fitter, he'll definitely win.
yh too bad ramires isnt playing hes in sparkling form and bayern were really shit vs dortmund im worried that its being played at bayerns stadium though
With Cardio on this one. Looks like to me Roger has the look in his eye, owns the H2h, owns the H2H on clay, and has beaten better players all years. Djokvic 2011 vs. Federer 2012 would be anyones match but this Djokovic definitely is a step behind Federer atm.
Bad decision by Fed to play this tournament. Not much positive could come out of it. He's never enjoyed any success here really and going into the French he could have used the positive frame of mind about winning a big event.
Instead, atm he is getting shelled by Djokovic. That not only will hurt his confidence going into RG but will also be in the back of of his head the next time he sees Novak whether it be in a couple of weeks in Paris or down the line.
