Looks like he is in fine form and frankly : it would be embarrassing to lose again . On hardcourt, best of 3, no slam pressure ,no home crowd pressure like in Wimby, Murray should be better.
I cant help myself but I need to take this 2.
Berdych played really good matches this week, show some quality and defeated good players. On the other side Cilic is IMHO in the final just due to a good opponents for him (Wu - no comment, Fognini - on the hard? , Anderson - just serve mug, Ljuba - too old this guy for some good stuff). No big surprise he is in final..
Ramos against De Voest. I dont like De Voest style, he is more or less just about serve. If these 2 mugs will play from baseline it will be huge benefit for Ramos, he should be better in rallies that Rik. I see Ramos as little favorite here.
Piki Ramos is better player but don't forget that De Voest is HC player, while Ramos is basically claycourter! However good luck the same
My pick for the early morning is:
Lu @ 1,57 (Bet365) - Lu is better player first of all, then he's playing in China, Bolelli is there for double with his friend Fognini, I hope he won't fight so much, so I can see quite value on that odd!
anyway they are playing in Shanghai, I will use a comment from one czech guy which he found somewhere:
Shanghai was brutally slow, Toronto was very slow and Miami and Indian Wells have been slowed drastically," says Federer
So it means that courts here should suit better to Ramos than Rik.. I hope
This is the best form we've seen from T-Bird since the 2010 run he had from Roland Garros to Wimbledon. Humiliating Verdasco 1,0, outlasting a white hot Tsonga whos probably been the 3rd best player on tour since Wimbledon and really just dominating.
I was high on Cilic after his great 2010 run down under but he's been average at best since then. He's even struggled this week being taken to 3 sets against Fognini and Anderson. If Anderson is giving you trouble, Berdych will eat you for breakfast lunch and dinner. Cilic has shown some solid results in the past over big serving, power stroking guys like Berdych (including a win earlier this year against Berdych), but this final is a mismatch moreso based on a wonder draw for the Croat. Look for Tomas to smash him off the court. Anything less would be thoroughly disappointing.

To be honest Berd dominated after the first game where he was broken. He should have taken it in 2 but a lapse in the 2nd almost cost him the match. After that though you could see the freight train rolling after he won the 2nd set. Nice job to cover the games handicap, but it should have been a clean sweep.
