Re: how does davis cup works? friday

Whats the speed of the court? must be slow hard if llodra isn't playing assuming he's healthy.

Juan Martin Del Potro

But he lost 23 times against you.
's right. We have to also throw into the mix. But I do not think it is currently the decisive factor. But he has achieved in my opinion too much. Maybe this is crucial if I move him even closer after major victories. But 14 or 17 Grand Slam titles is a significant difference. At the present time there is no question that he must be the greater player than me.

Yeah its a slow court simon will probably be better on this surface than llodra i think simon will at least win a set also having him on the game handicap.

Monf is a choker who plays long matches when he is a fav. Tipsy is a fighter who plays long matches when he is a dog.

easy over imo

i think there is a difference between a "fighter" and a "bully".

according to atp site, lamonf is 7-2 in set #5 in his career. tipsy is not even mentioned. add to it his history of suspicious retirements (does anyone even remember the last tournament in moscow???)

one never knows what to expect from lamonf effort-wise outside of france, but just for fun:

france to win, 5Gs (with and eye on closing this position at evens if possible)
djo - sim, under 33.5, 7Gs

the French captain was quoted saying he believes this will boil down to Sunday and he needs Llodra to be fresh for the doubles.

for sure, I'm not really interested on who will win on a 5th set, my only interest is that they take it to a 5th set.
